No...there isn't ew on ios is basically eu redone with the added features of ew. On another note though you can add some replayability to your eu on pc by getting the long war mod. It's friggin awesome. I think there's a ew versio as well. But I haven't checked.
So yeah I'm doing this covert mission and I'm facing off against 20 exalt soldiers.. All my mechs are injured which is killing me. I think it might be impossible for me to beat this.. I might try equipping everyone with grenades and going ape shit
Hmm, I just tried on my daughters 5th gen, and it wound up crashing twice before the first mission. It could be her iPod, I don't know what all she's done with it, but there are a few reviews in the US AppStore from people having the same issue. Hopefully an update will optimize it, but even after, I'm sure it'll crash sometimes and loading could take a while. =o/
Description on App Store says that it works on iPhone 5 and above. I'm guessing that it will not run on any iPod as they are all inferior to the iPhone 5.

How is the multiplayer on this? I have the PS3 version of EU, but never played multiplayer. Now that EW is out for iOS, thinking of taking the plunge and exploring the multiplayer aspect. Does this have pvp and coop?
Well I actually never played the first one when it came out because it crashed on my 5g after the tutorial mission. It's just too graphic intensive.
Im still finishing it and taking my time but when I get the chance I would love to have a go with multiplayer with some guys here like Lawliet!
Haven't tried multiplayer as well Lawliet, even on Enemy Unknown - so I'm sure it would not be the one-sided affair that you're thinking... . Let's try it once we finish one run of the campaign!
Damn Exalt... Stealing my hard earned money!! It's good I almost used majority on Facility Construction otherwise they might have gotten more... I trashed them during Covert Ops though. With a MEC and all units sporting Laser weapons they were no match.
Anyone encountered a bug where it just took forever when loading a save file where i saved in a middle of battle? This is the first time it happened as i have saved several times before. Sigh. Do i have to replay the whole game again?
Sure! I'll turn everyone into scouts and have them all run away to the corner of the map in fear. lol. But yeah I'll let you know! This may take long or not depending on my alien fighting skills. It seems countries don't trust me anymore..
It happens to me all the time, running on iPad Air. Just be patient, it'll save and return you to the game eventually. I believe it's related to cloud somehow, but it's not possible to turn off cloud, even if you don't usr the cloud save slot. Hopefully something that will be fixed in a patch eventually.
I commented about this also a couple pages back. I couldn't fix it but luckily i had another save. I waited for a long time and it never loaded. All we can do is email support and tell them about the bug. Seems like a huge issue for those who get it. I have no idea what causes it.
