Also I just had my main Assault right now get promoted and take on Close Combat Specialist (free reaction shot for enemies that close in within 4 tiles)... bring them on! Bwahahaha! Also it's good that I had my "Robocop" MEC have a flamethrower then...
Oh damn... I think my game is glitched. Game saves won't freakin load. I can hear the backgroun sounds of people screaming and gun fire but it just stays on the load screen. Rebooted my device and it didn't do anything.. wtf. I don't want to start over.. Unbelievable. 20+ hours in already
Happened to me quite a couple of times. It seems that when loading takes a while, it's trying to connect to the cloud

I hope this isn't like the Injustice bug where icloud breaks the game. Should I turn off icloud for this game??
I plan on getting this, but I have to ask: how much, if any, of the game is lost in transition from PC/consoles to iOS. Is it just on a smaller screen, or is it shorter? Are there less big maps? I can't really find a definitive answer early in this thread. Also, it's 3.3 GB's once installed right? Lastly, my phone is a 5C. Will it run good?
I have no idea but i never use iCloud (don't trust it). I'm always local. None of my saves are on the cloud. I was so lucky that i had a save right before the stage since that loaded. The corrupted file was irreversible. I lost the map i had almost finished. This scares me a lot especially since you only have four save slots. Now I have to keep a save right before the stage. Great. Just my luck, when i went to continue, instead of going back to that previous stage it gave me the fishing mission. In the upside it does reduce all panic levels right? I have 4 countries ready to leave...
Dlc? I thought enemy within WAS the DLC.... Also, is it objectively worse I suppose is the question I'm asking. I have this on PC. Never beat it, but I thought I'd get it on mobile so I may play it more, on the go
I only noticed a Panic reduction on the 1 country it happened in.. The other countries I had which had 4 Panic still had 4 when I finished it... Now that I actively checked - It seems I also did not receive the corpses of the enemies I killed during the mission (I should have lots of Chryssalid corpses). Oh, prepare for this kind of a PARTY. ;-)
^ I think I'll put the game on hold for a few days, find some new briefs, tell my men they're good people, get ready to battle, then repeat step one again.
No, this was a full priced expansion on PC, stand alone on consoles. Definitely never DLC. There were 2 DLC packages offered: Slingshot & Elite Soldiers, neither available nor included at this time.
Since I never played it on PC, I can't say with absolute certainty, but if it's like the reduced map quantity for EU, it's just somewhat more repetitive in the random missions if you play the bejesus out of it. If you're just playing through once would likely never know the difference, and if not, you're obviously up for a little repetition anyhow
Haven't picked this up yet and only played EU iOS version a little bit and hundreds of hours on PC, since EW works a bit different in thats its separate app rather then addon expansion on PC is there any point (after buying EW) in keeping EU installed?
