Oh now that is pissing annoying. I've had to redownload/install the game, you then have to download and install the update. Which, I'm just guessing this, I will not have enough space to do....because I just reinstalled the game.
How does the limitation to points in multiplayer work? I build up a small team and used less than 10000 points , created a new game and some guy with full team of soldiers armed with plasma stuff and elite sectoid joined in, I mean wtf...
i think the point system work as a currency thingy where more power soldiers are more expensive and you have to balance it in a way
Anyone know if enemy within is going to be a doc or fulll release on ios? I really do not want to pay for thevsame game twice
This is ridiculous. I've just had to delete Xcom, again, and am now downloading it, again, just to try and get the latest version that includes the multiplayer! Does anyone know why it seems to be downloading an old version of it? I have enough room to stomach one direct install but not enough to have the game installed and then install the massive update. I am somewhat losing my temper with this.
i dont think it possible for you to download the old version of this except if itunes prompted you that your os is not compatible with the current version and ask you if you like to download the last compatible version. I updated mine without hiccups and played a couple of matches already
Well I'm downloading it again now (irritating enough). The last time I downloaded it though it definitely had no multiplayer option and and there was an 1.3.0 update availabe once I had downloaded it that apparently contains the multiplayer section. If this keeps happening I'll never be able to play it because to get the latest version will mean I will have to have about 7.6Gb worth of space free on my phone, which is not doable.
Are you not able to download the update onto your computer and then sync back to the phone? If possible this is always the best way of updating large files as it removed the need to have double space available, which you find when d/l from the AppStore directly to your phone.
Asynch multi is an amazing update! Don't get me wrong about that. That's awesome to now have that. But, if the initial load screen still takes minutes to get into the game, that's not so fun. Can any report that if you leave the app open in the multitask bar and come back to it for an ongoing asynch game, that it doesn't take too long.
Yay update Finally multiplayer! And the crashes on my ipad mini have been fixed too, no more having to play on my iPhone 5s. Awesome update! And for those that never bought it, the half off sale is too good to pass up. My favorite game on my ipad.
Well will be clearing space on mini tonight so I can install the game again. Was waiting on ios 7 and multi. It's here.
