I'm not a fanboy but the Xbox has better exclusives for me , that's why I'm buying one.
Forza 4 was way better than gt5 because gt5 had the standard cars which were unchanged from the ps2 version.
Unless gt6 improves those cars and gets rid of 500 cars that look exactly the same I don't see why any racing game fan would buy the ps4

Yesterday, at the big reveal for the Xbox One, it was relayed that the system would not be backward compatible with the Xbox 360 or the original Xbox, and therefore wouldn’t be able to play any of those systems games.

This raised a huge stink among many players and caused a drop in GameStop stock shares since the company relies heavily on sales of used games.

In an interview with the Wall Street Journal, Don Mattrick, president of Microsoft’s Xbox division, addressed the issue saying, “If you’re backwards compatible you’re really backwards.” He went on to say that only about 5 percent of players would use a new system to play games from older generation consoles, and to Microsoft that just didn’t make sense putting that in the new console.

There is a little light on the horizon though, because content such as music, movies, and TV shows that were bought on the Xbox 360, can be transported over to the Xbox One.

For now, there hasn’t been word on whether or not Microsoft will make it possible to play old Xbox 360 games via download through Xbox Live or if they might release a special edition collection of hit selling Xbox 360 games put onto a disc which can be read by the next-gen Xbox.

GT6 isn't on PS4, but Drive Club is. I loved Forza 1 and 3, it's the best reason for owning a 360, but it's just not enough. It'd take more than one great game to make me want to put up with the amount of BS that's being bundled into this console.

Nintendo should send them a thank you card. Amazon.com sold out of the deluxe wii u model and is now using third party vendors on the main page. I say vendors because the first vendor they used also sold out today.

Amazon has not stocked Nintendo hardware in a long time now. All Nintendo hardware on Amazon are sold by third-party vendors.

Xbox One: Harrison Confirms Pre-Owned fees

The Xbox One is heading toward a train wreck, there is now solid confirmation that the Xbox One charges a fee for used games.

In an interview with Eurogamer, Harrison damaged controlled the notion of paying for used games, then added “So, think about how you use a disc that you own of an Xbox 360 game. If I buy the disc from a store, I use that disc in my machine, I can give that disc to my son and he can play it on his 360 in his room.

“We both can’t play at the same time, but the disc is the key to playing. I can go round to your house and give you that disc and you can play on that game as well. What we’re doing with the digital permissions that we have for Xbox One is no different to that.

“If I am playing on that disc, which is installed to the hard drive on my Xbox One, everybody in my household who has permission to use my Xbox One can use that piece of content. I can give that piece of content to my son and he can play it on the same system.”

On the issue of paying a fee for used games, Harrison said

“I can come to your house and I can put the disc into your machine and I can sign in as me and we can play the game. At the end of the play session, when I take my disc home – or even if I leave it with you – if you want to continue to play that game [on your own profile] then you have to pay for it.

“The bits are already on your hard drive, so it’s just a question of going to our [online] store and buying the game, and then it’s instantly available to play. The bits that are on the disc, I can give to anybody else, but if we both want to play it at the same time, we both have to own it. That’s no different to how discs operate today.”

So there it is. You can’t play games used unless you pay a fee. Gamestop is going to be pissed about this one. This is going to take a large chunk of their business away. However, in a poll, 60% of their customers said they wouldn’t purchase a system that puts some form of restraint on used games. So the Xbox One could be losing out on a ton of sales.
