The XPhone is in development. I have seen it, but was forced to sign an NDA. Can't say anything else, except it's a console + phone, and not much bigger than an iDevice.
Personaly I vote for the ps3, the only reason that I would get an xbox is that more of my friends have them, and thats because the 360 used to be alot cheaper than the ps3
PS3. Far better exclusive games (Uncharted 2, Little Big Planet, Metal Gear Solid 4, Rachet and Clank, GT5, Heavy Rain, Infamous, Demon's Soul, Killzone 2, The Last Guardian, Yakuza 3, Mod Nation Racers, Resistance, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2, MLB The Show, God of War 3, Motorstorm Pacific Rift, White Knight Chronicles, Final Fantasy 14 and 13 Versus etc) Plus all the popular multiplatform games on the 360 like Call of Duty, Burnout and Resident Evil games. Also... built in wifi (costs $100 extra on 360) built in hdd (costs $100 extra on 360) built in bluray player (the 360 hddvd player costs $200 extra) built in rechargable batteries in the controllers (costs $20 extra each on 360) and free online play Makes it a very easy choice.
None of that stuff means anything. Who gives a crap about the specs? That's not what makes a console entertaining. The bottom line is the games are almost identical, the 360 just happens to fail in a couple other crucial areas.
Yeah, you can, but even I'm pissed at Microsoft about the ridiculous price. Thankfully, my modem's literally right next to the tv.
Not true. My PS3's internal hard drive broke down and I had to pay Sony $150 to get the same size back, which was only 20 GBs. If it weren't for the exclusives, I wouldn't have paid at all.
At least Sony doesn't have to extend the warranty because of the frequency of the problem. Fingers crossed my 360 survives. I do love the controller, though. It's so comfy and colorful.
