I've heard it varies in different countries, but here in the UK they were great. In fact... I didn't even exchange a single word with them. I got the RROD, filled out a form online, 2 days later a courier came and picked it up, 7 days later he brought it back.
I have problems, just because I enjoy one console over another? That's outrageous. If I have "Service Problems" at least provide a reason.
"service" problems? I said serious. Can you read? And, what games do you even own for the Wii? List them off.
Sorry, I mean Serious. I own the following games: - New Super Mario Bros - Super Smash Bros Brawl - The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess - Metroid Prime Trilogy
I agree with A. C, though: My 360 RROD'ed, after the warranty. Through less than two hours of talking to Support, I was able to get the system refurbished, free of charge, when I should have paid a hefty fee for it. The support are normally happy to help, if you're willing to keep a calm and collected manner. As for the Wii: it was a system that had great potential. But, with the lack of heftier regulation of the games supported by Nintendo (Party Babyz, anyone?), a controller that worked the first time (rather than having to pay $20 for the Motion Plus upgrade), an online system that was less friend-code-typing and more user-friendly, and 1080i support, it turned into a system of shovelware and gimmicks.
NSMB: ehh.... SMB3 + Multiplayer. Brawl: It was fun for about a week. Twilight Princess: ehh... again. Trilogy: Just OK. None of these compare to anything on PS3 or 360.
What are you, a wannabe "badass" hardcore gamer? Tell me your favorite games this gen or ever made, and I can show you with good arguments why games like Metroid Prime Trilogy or Twilight Princess put them to shame in many MANY ways. I doubt you can come up with a decent counterargument though, since you look like an average kiddo. Oh and for the guy who loves his Wii, don't forget to get Super Mario Galaxy, or the best game ever made.
