I have had this headset for around half a year, and just yesterday my headset broke. Well, the thing that you plug in the mic to talk snapped in half, but it doesn't look like it. If you put it back together, it looks like nothing happened.

Does anyone know how to fix this? I don't want to buy a new one because I have until the 1st of October of xbox live, so there's really no point in spending $50 on a new mic that's gonna last me 5 days.

I'm on the hunt for a new one myself for pc though I'm thinking of trying a plantronics one or possibly a decent bluetooth headset which probably sounds weird but my netbook which I use skype with has bluetooth 3 so I'm pretty sure it will work.

I'd stay away from anything logitech or any with a plastic neckband the reason I want a new one is their just so uncomfortable
