Because 90% are terrible? That's true, but there are some good ones hidden in there, some more innovative than most XBLA games themselves.
I use to be excited about community games but there is a lot of rubbish on it, while you could say the same about the app store there is a lot more gold too.
weapon of choice EDIT: also, Johnny Platform's Biscuit Romp, CarneyVale Showtime, and supercow is pretty fun too. it's great that every game has a downloadable demo. some amazing non-community games are Braid and Portal. also, everybody should download Aegis Wing because it's free, has online multiplayer (wink wink), and it's a blast! Check out xblcg.info for most recommended xblcg games, as voted by visitors to the site. You can log in using your windows live id (hotmail, etc.) to vote games. It would be nice if more gamers used this site to properly rank the games. At first this site was dominated by developers, but I think it's slowly changing. XBLCG games I've bought: Weapon of Choice: http://xblcg.info/game/weapon-of-choice Biology Battle: http://xblcg.info/game/biology-battle Rapib Gophers: http://xblcg.info/game/rabid-gophers The first two are in the top 10. The last one, Rapib Gophers, was a cheap 200-pointer which is fun but I'm not too pleased with the repeats in the online scores which means the top players fill the scoreboards and bump you off the list. Unless you get a top 15 score, you have no idea where you are ranked. Boo. I almost feel ripped off even though it was cheap it wasn't what I wanted.
