Without maps, any sort of route tracking or at. drelbs Well-Known Member Jun 25, 2009 11,187 1 36 #5 drelbs, Dec 20, 2014 Well, I've been playing with this for a while this morning, and compared to X-Plane-4G its a lot more accessible, with better UI and more immediate gratification. Aside from the free plane though it seems to have a lot less bang for the buck - those planes better come in packs (like the separate apps previously) or drop in price. If there was a $1 plane I was interested in I'd snag it just to see if the adds (in menu at bottom, not too intrusive) go away. If that A10 was $3 I'd have bought that to go on bombing runs. With the previous set of apps, you could have gotten them all for $30 (or less - they went on sale sometimes) and gotten a lot more content. The UI was not as clean (the 4G version was almost too bad to read the tiny text, my 6+ has improved that though) and the graphics are not as good, but it's not like the flight sim model is radically different. But it looks like they're all gone from the store, and I checked the IAP and it no longer works. Certainly worth a shot for free, have fun with that Cessna. currymutton Well-Known Member Oct 16, 2008 4,430 0 0 #6 currymutton, Jan 28, 2015 Any means to turn off that ad?
