so I have been [frankly] Cheap about spending 10 bucks on X-Plane, having it sit on appsniper hoping the price will at least come down to mayb 7.99 or 4.99
and now that, the expansions have come out

one, are the expansions worth 5 bucks?
two, would you buy the expansions, knowing that the original x-plane prob. wont get updated with new maps, and or new planes unless you spend more money
four, didn't you notice there was no three
    and five..
    would you recommend x-plane?
im still on the fence, and starting to crawl away from it

    I have my doubts...

somehow I feel that X-Plane airliner is being reviewed by people who are excited about flying airliners, a hobby that sounds inherently unexciting.

X-Plane: Stuntplane, im all over that,

    airliners?..... not too exciting.

I've got all 3 x-plane apps. They're amazingly complete for mobile applications. I would say that Airliner is the best flight app currently available for the iphone/ipod touch, but the original x-plane is better for someone who's not experienced with flight sims.

I'm not inherently excited about flying airliners, but this app makes it less boring than you might imagine simply through the huge number of airports situated so close together that you don't have to spend ages travelling between them.

I think Airliner is amazing value for money. If you know something about flying,or you're interested in learning, and you're prepared to put in some effort, then this is a great place to start.

I've had X-Plane for a while and just bought the helicopter version. X-Plane is interesting, but there's not a whole lot to do. It's still worth $10. It really is the real thing.

The helicopter version is lot more challenging and therefore a lot more fun, IMO. I've been playing it a lot lately. It's well worth $5.

That's too bad. I finally landed the airliner for my first time, and now I want to try the helicopter. Is there an air liner that can land on water? If so, I wish to see it on the next update. And when nav controls are up, controls should be disabled, and I find it hard to zoom back in on the radar after I zoom out. I wish I would have jumped on helicopter at $5
