Pretty big news I thought. Apple have reversed their policy on this.

Means controller only games can now come to the Apple TV.

Should hopefully mean a much better selection of games.

Anyone seen any games taking advantage of this?

Indeed. I own SS Nimbus and I'd like to see more advanced-console-like-games. Especially, AAA-like titles (rip-offs) as Gram Turismo or Call of Duty. Current titles either straight-out suck because of jerky framerate (Real Racing 3, Asphalt 8), or framerate is stable but is quite low (The Afterpulse). Hopefully, Madfinger Games will bring couple of their titles to AppleTV.

On the other hands, I tried to play games that I own and I realised that extended controllers are required for FPS / 3PS and maybe some of the more advanced platformers. Otherwise, especially for racing games, Siri remote is not only sufficient, but even superior controller. Just saying.
