    Wrestling Manager Is Out Now!!!

Sorry we have been quite people. Wrestling Manager is in the App store right now!!!!!!

Please give us any and all feedback on the game because we plan to patch new features in as often as possible (aiming for at least one patch per month but it depends on Apple I suppose) and we will always try to keep the patches free so that you are constantly getting an improved experience.

I can't understand why it's not on the iPad app store. I've been playing it on my iPad for over a month now... I'll contact Apple later today to find out what's happened.

Rest assured, it is universal and it plays fantastic on the iPad. Maybe we submitted it wrong or something?

It looks interesting and very polished from the screens, but $9.99 seem too much...

The problem is, we've built a game for a very niche part of the market. If you're not a wrestling fan, chances are you won't look twice at it and even if you are a wrestling fan, you might not be a management games fan and then even if you are both of those, you might not like games that aren't licensed. There's over 100,000 games on the app store and we are the only wrestling management sim but THERE ARE 2 ANGRY BIRDS--WITH-WWE-WRESTLERS GAMES.... That's right not 1 but 2 angry birds with wrestlers games lol!

So we've done the crazy thing and instead of making a mass market title, we've tried to make a good game for actual wrestling game fans. The consequence of that is, we can't charge $0.99 because to do so would require us to sell 250,000 copies just to break even and I doubt there's even 25,000 wrestling management game fans in the world never mind 250,000.

To be honest though, it's well worth it's money. The game has managed to keep me hooked for well over a month and it's the same price as Football Manager on the iPhone which kind of makes sense because they are both really deep games, aimed at hardcore fans.

@Serious Parody: I completely agree with you. I am bored of games that cost $0.99 and offer nothing new and sometimes are completely junk.
I will gladly pay $9.99 for a game like Football Manager, I know the game mechanics and I play since 1996(when it was named Championship Manager) but Wrestling Manager is an unknown game to me. I know nothing about it and I have wasted a lot of money on games and apps that proved to be useless/boring so I am a little cautious.

A lite version that allows you to play only for a month or two would make my decision easier.. :)

I'm sorry but there isn't going to be a lite version any time in the near future... if at all.

The game works on 4.3 and upwards and we need to spend time making it work on the earlier iPhones because quite a lot of people have tried to buy it but couldn't. We are also working on porting it to other platforms and as well as all that we have a team dedicated to creating patches and new content so that people who do buy it will keep getting an improved experience.

I'm sorry if that's not the answer you were looking for. If I could magic up a lite version tomorrow, I would but the truth is, it would take a lot of time to do and we have a lot of people who would play it but can't because it's not on their device. Where as at least you have the ability to play it if you want it.

Good thing that you try to make it compatible with early iPhones.
You mentioned Football Manager, that was the magic word for me. I'll wait for some impressions first but I might buy it in the near future..

I noticed that one review within the app store mentions a future story mode. Can you provide any details of this?

Also, still no iPad version in the app store :(

That's odd, I actually bought it on the iPad earlier today.

I'm sorry but we aren't releasing details of the story cards just yet.

Maybe not app store uk yet.

That's fair enough - the fact there is story mode is good enough. Cool addition. Will wait for iPad release first.

Also - game is £7 and has iap..... Do you need to buy Iaps to progress? I take it you can manage fine without.
