Eh, I’d say they’re not really worth it if for no other reason than they kind of screw up the campaign progression. Basically cheating. Wait until you’ve already gotten deep into it or finished the campaign IMO.
Since this thread has been bumped I realized the game’s on sale for 4,99€ atm. Just saying in case someone didn’t have a chance to grab it yet.
I’m looking forward to getting back in front of my AppleTV next week and giving this a try there with my 8bitDo Pro.
I added it to my account as soon as the fix came out and the price went down. Holding back from actual playing as they mentioned additional graphical goodies like god rays making it to the settings... Besides I'm busy with Techboy1997's Asphalt 8 revival game.

Awesome! What a great offer! had this on ps4 and played it for hours! Then had it on ps5 and put a lot of hours in it. Will grab on my iPhone now
I don’t really enjoy racing games the only one I even remember enjoying in the last 10 years is Horizon Chase. But at this price I’ve bought it anyway because there’s nothing to loose at this price to see if I like it or not.

First, my apologies to the developer(s) for waiting so long for the price to drop so low to purchase (was due not having wi-fi to download 4GBs of content). Second, WOW! What an freakin' awesome racing game (used my neighbours wi-fi to download content) I have always had a small weakness for racing games. The last games I purchased were Horizon Chase and Need for Speed - Most Wanted. For nostalgia, my iPhone 4S running iOS 6.0.1 I have Need for Speed: Undercover, Driver, Real Racing GTI, Asphalt 5 and Snuggle Truck.
Even on an iPhone 15 Pro there are very often slowdowns with medium settings (23 cars on track), when driving with 60 fps. I don't even want to talk about the pop-ups of large objects. I don‘t want to play racinggames with 30 fps in 2024. Are 30 fps fine for you?

Chq, you were complaining about the same thing with Rush Rally 3. Can’t speak to pop in, but you seem to be misunderstanding what 60 FPS Limit means - it’s not 60 FPS lock, it’s up to 60 FPS. The expectation is that it will hit 60 some of the time. If you want to stay at 60 FPS most of the time, use the Max setting. FWIW, I use the same device and have no performance issues.
