Well, I gave it a go and... It crashed. Not the car, but the game I guess my old 4S is not enough for it.
I've had some fun with this. I do wish the levels were structured a little bit more towards total carnage. The roads feel a bit barren, as in there should be more to hit. As well, I notice more often than not, cars will start colliding a ways down the road from where I crashed, but it won't count towards the score, which is a bit of a let down. All in all, there is some fun to be had here, I was kind of hoping for more interaction with wrecks than currently offered. I would still tecommend this though, and graphical optimization for higher end devices will be nice
We're optimizing textures and submitting an update. The issue is the 512mb of ram limitation on the 4S. The next update should help. Sorry about the problem
Haha, yeah its frustrating, but we still want the game to work on a lower end device. We're doing some tricks with texture compression and optimization that should do the job. I'll let you know when the update hits.
I'd say get rid of the shine on the cars as its really not needed and also give a bit more time after you crash for some destruction to happen. See highway crash Derby as that does it great where you crash and then sit back and watch the carnage. Other than those things it's a good game the only reason I deleted it was because of the file size. For a crashing game I'll stick to highway crash as its nice and small file size.
Since every vehicle has many pieces that fly off and are deformed in realtime, there's a lot of ram being used for them, though it's optimized a lot(it works on mobile ofc!).
I suggest everyone go to the AppStore now and purchase wrecked pro. It's on sale for only $.99 for 24 hours. I just picked it up. I'm playing it right now. It's definitely the best way to play. Fully premium. Billy
