Nice! Have to say space marshals overtook this for me recently. But I was enjoying it! Maybe I'll knock some races out tonight!!
Too bad it takes 30 days straight. Sadly the one 3 star car I grinded and unlocked a while back has even worse handling than the slower cars due to the awful physics and weird geometry of the roads and environments. It was mildly amusing watching my car hit the skybox and them bounce back to the ground multiple times in one race. Apple did give me a refund though so it wasn't a complete waste of an experience. I still wouldn't recommend anyone buy this nonsense. The fact that it says "Simulation" anywhere in the description is a crime in and of itself.
I saw that it got a bigger update 2 months back.Anyone tried it after that? With a controller maybe? I it really THAT bad?I'm in a mood for a new rally game right now
Well it doesn't help that in the description it says you need Android version 4.0 or above. Seriously. It's in the description. Billy
can anyone here who has it still on their device check if it's now possible to switch off the green driving line?I would give it a try then i guess.
well...first impressions:it IS that bad.It controls horrible and the brake is nearly unusable (handbrake seems better though).Makes still no use of the analog triggers of my gamepad.Driving is much more work than fun.Graphic is"okay".But i think i'll return this one unfortunately (don't this usually).I can't see myself working thru dat game.
Thanks for the info I've had this on my list for a while, those screens really look amazing! But might give it a miss and keep playing Colin McRae
ok,second impression. While i had to get used to the handling (too nervous) i'm having some fun with it now. Also because the old"set your device to a later date" trick works here with the daily rewards. So,while the so called championship can be quite frustrating i'm having some fun with the"daily"stuff and already unlocked/bought 6 additional cars that way.The difference to the first car is not THAT big but the handling is noticeably better at least on some of the cars. This game is doing so much stuff wrong with the WRC license but usually i waste 4 much easier during the day for...whatever.i definitely had some 4 bucks worth of fun with it.Colin is still better (but no MFI support ) and Rush Rally 2 is lightyears ahead but since it is still in beta...has not much content yet. ah yeah, and i mixed up brake and handbrake first and therefore my"brake is useless"statement.Handbrake is still ONLY usable in hairpins though.
Both games are good IMO. I e been having a lot of fun with this one. If I had to choose between the two, I'd say Colin by far. I still can't get enough of that game.....and it's how old now??
i sent a mail to them regarding controller sensitivity and (disabling) the green racing line and i already got an answer, they asked me what controller i use and thanked for the suggestion. So,it was not generic reply at least and they still seem to care a bit Sent a mail to codemasters as well (MFI support for Colin) and also already got an answer...but this time a generic one like"thanks, forwarded to the dev team"
wow,the game just got updated with better vehicle handling/physics and more options (and a lot more). THAT was quick.See what we can achieve if we politely ask the devs instead of just leave a rant in a forum? Gonna try it later.Hope the new options are also for controller but i'm all for better physics and pacenote timing as well.
well.i still did not TRY it myself,i just read the release notes.Still on your own risk But as i wrote earlier,i definitely had some fun with it in its current state and with the date/time trick you can race (randomly)on all stages and earn quite a lot of currency and cars this way.You even don't need to win this stages as long as you play them"daily"
Sooo, anyone care to comment if yesterday's update made this any better or more playable? Like what I saw with Colin McRae and would like to try this, if the update made it more than its 2 1/2 star average would indicate. Thanks in advance for any views.
