I check the Android version and the reviews are bad. I would wait. Anyway, I do not get the message from the game's FB page and here, it is way into Jan 2 and the app is still being modified on Apps Store without any info on the IAP. Any review would be welcomed.
The game still appears on the store but the price has gone up. EDIT: Download in progress, I'll try to report back on the content, IAPs, and graphics.
Yep. Just refreshed the store and it's $3.99 instead of the $2.99 it was listed as earlier. Looking forward to your report.
Just bought it....for a dollar more than anticipated :/ but hopefully it's worth the price of admission. Imps soon
Colin McRae Rally. Obviously it got pulled from the iOS App Store (at least my "local" store tells me "…not available in your country"). Dunno why (now I know, read on). Anyway I found it in the Previous Purchases list and… downloading on iPad Air 2 right now. It was really good. There is a need for replacement. Thread about CMcRR: http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=194355 Edit: CMcRR crashes on both iPad Air 1 and iPad Air 2 after eight seconds. What a pity. It was definitely one of the better racing games/simulators for iOS. :-(
Gone up to $5 here. No indication what the iap is for. $5 with iap is a deal breaker for me. Devs have gotten so greedy. They want premium and Freemium models in the same app. I can't support that. It's either one or the other. Passing on this one.

The graphics are OK, the game runs at 60 fps, which is cool. You can control either with tilt or arrows: no sterring wheel, which could help a lot more with the control. Cameras: Far, Near, Bumper (no hood cam, shame) IAPs: terrible, there are two currencies in this premium-priced game.
Looks like another Real Racing game but with a $5 entry fee just to look at the game. Freemium with an entry fee? Ridiculous.
This one is dead on arrival for me. Would've gladly paid for a full game, with no IAP bullshit, but this will never land on my devices. I'll grab Flyhunter instead.
This is a real damn shame.. I would love to just pay a premium price and not get nickled and dimed on top of it.
Well I'm pretty impressed with this so far. I've played the first four stages and had a couple of quick games don't see a problem with the IAP as you earn the currency by playing anyway. The controls and physics are good and it looks nice, I'm playing with the number cam (would have preferred a dashboard can tho) the only downside I can speak of is the big green driving line, it should never have been included and certainly not for leaderboard times! I can't even find an option to turn it off? Other than that it's looking like a great rally game and since Colin McRae doesn't work on iOS 8 is probably say this is the best rally game at the minute.
