I never been so proud of a case. This case is amazing. It is...the Rebel Touch Case by SwitchEasy. It's VERY protective with the spine and shock-proof rubber. It has a slick back with the plastic spine/exo-skeleton, so no lint annoying lint attraction. The best case I've ever purchased. It's very sleek in the black color (What I have) and is sharp. I seriously recommend this case if you want no bulk and lots of protection. Here are some pics of it. Amazing. Period. Very snug. No bulk.
I swear by my Speck ArmorSkin! (black) Don't use the clip. http://www.amazon.com/Speck-Products-IPH-BLK-TSA-iPhone-Armor/dp/B0011V56KQ
I have the Rebel Touch Devil (Black-Red) which I realy like. Also worth mentioning is that it comes with an adapter for the universal dock, so that you don't have to remove the Touch from its case to fit it in a dock! I haven't seen anything like that from any other case. The widescreen stand is also handy if you want to watch videos in the plane or something like that. The only drawback is the power-button protection. I removed it (clipped it off) to get better access to the power button. My next case will be a Neo from SwitchEasy.
I assume this is about iPod/iPhone cases (can't see the pictures?) - one of the reasons I bought an iPhone was because of the glass screen, my old N95 was plastic and scratched easily (it shared a pocket with my keys once and ended up with a deep gouge on the screen). So my question is - why do you use a case? Not being sarcastic or anything, just figured I'm missing something?
This. My only complaints about the Air are the difficulty in removing the device when needed, and the difficulty in flipping the ringer switch from the off position because the far edge recesses too far toward the back edge of the cutout. Also, the use of micro USB was a pain in the ass, as I had to order a couple of longer cables to make proper use of it at home and work. (3ft cable FTL.) Other than that though the Juicepack Air wins.
nice. pretty sweet. not 100% on the ribs pattern but still pretty slick. holy crap that is one rubber tank of a case you gotz there.
Then let me describe it for you. On my monitor, the case looks like a black rectangle with a red X in the middle of it. My concern is that the red X might be too distracting while you are playing games--it would obstruct the graphics. Hope this helps!
Wow, I think I'm going to want this RebelTouch for my next case. My case right now (Link) is pretty flimsy. Although I have one question: does this case protect the screen too?
I right now use a leather case for my 2G but plan to get some case with battery included once I finally get my hands on a 3GS. Is mophie the only choice here? Does any one know another such case which is better looking with even more battery power? Ideally I'd love to get something with a design like iControlPad with all the extra features of Dogbone pro plus two thumbsticks. I won't even think twice before shelling out 100-150$ if something like that ever gets out. But unless apple provides standard guidelines for such controllers, there would be no point in getting something like this as no game is going support such accessory before apple takes the first step. So that won't be happening anytime soon. I'll have to stay with the slickest case which includes extra battery. Is there any other choice for me other than mophie??
I think it is more for the back of the iPhone/iPod Touch, rather than the front. The shiny back scratches so easily. Plus it's a bit like buying a new compact camera I find. It's just part of the purchase. You have to get a case...
