3DS, because not only would I be the first one to get my hands on it, I could leak tiny details one by one and earn buckets of monies.
I guess it would get kinda boring after a few days though as the games won't be fully tested yet or anything.

edit: eh i misread what you wrote slightly, but the early 3DS still swings it the same way. Cause I can still play it properly when it does come out anyway.
The ipad would just be an added bonus really.
