With all the talk of Verizon getting the iPhone next year *crosses fingers* If it really did happen how many of you would switch over to Verizon and ditch AT&T?
I would love to, i currently live in an AT&T dead zone, maybe with Verizon i could actually stay connected and not have my calls and Eliminate matches drop out.
I wouldn't cancel my contract for Verizon, but if my contract time ran out, then I would switch to Verizon if I had a choice. AT&T not allowing tethering, MMS is slow, and dropped calls all the time.
My experience with coverage from AT&T is a lot more positive than most peoples' experiences, I think. I've had maybe two dropped calls out of a total of 250 or so. I really don't see the hate for AT&T, but again, my experience has been much better than some. Verizon was way expensive when I was with them, and AT&T is actually the better deal so far. And like I said, the coverage area is not half-bad for me.
Depends on what they do with the data plan, if they start investing more into the network and providing features and service that is better than Verizon this would help maintain my commitment to AT&T. If they add caps or up the fees this would be a deal breaker. Lowering the fees would also be good. Paying $100 a month for one cell phone is plain crazy. Once there is a choice I see all of the above happening to keep customers.
Would leave in a heart beat! I was in Drop Call Hell yesterday. Didn't matter whether on edge network or 3G. Bad, bad, bad.
I left ATT for Verizon. ATT is terrible. I can't travel or go anywhere and rely on service. I have never had any issues with Verizon. There is service everywhere. However I do not think Verizon will be getting the iPhone. I went back to ATT in order to get an iPhone because adding a member on a family plan was not expensive. I rarely use the iphone now because I got a touch which is so much better. I still have my verizon phone which I use as my main cell because my family has plans on both. I can also have the same apps on both my iphone and touch.
I read somewhere that if Verizon can somehow bump up to 4G, then Apple would then create iPhones for Verizon
I really miss verizon, when I'm traveling in the mountains with AT&T there is no service ever. With Verizon I had 5 bars no matter where I was.
