There were a few things I didn't like. But it's been a while since I had it so I can't remember all the bad parts. But I was pretty dissapointed with the game. For one, when you fall/crash it's in slomo and then takes forever to replace you onto the board. Slowed down the experience too much for me. I'm used to the Tony hawk games where you fall and get right back up. Don't misunderstand me, I don't expect a Tony hawk port, but I would have liked the bails to play in regular speed, and then have a simple animation of the skater getting back to the board quickly. Also the controls I felt could have been better. Some of the stuff was simply to hard to pull off with the controls every attempt. Seemed to me to take skill+luck for some things such as transfers. Upon reconsideration maybe not the worst game, but for me most dissapointing.
Ok, I'll agree with you there. It was a bit of a letdown, but overall a fun game for me to play, mainly because it's the only decent one out there. I just wish Activision would hurry up and bring a good Tony Hawk game to the iPhone (preferrably a THUG1, THAW, or THPS2 port/remake). I also hated the bails. They looked dumb and slowed things down WAY too much. I also kinda wished they had freak outs, but I really didn't expect that from GL. Simply put, it was a fun game if you could see past it's shortcomings, but otherwise it wasn't exactly the best game ever.
Well I might have given it more of a chance to grow on me had it not been released during my initial "OMG I got an iPhone watch me buy every app available" phase I still hope that MikeV will play better, and a THPS2 would be an instant buy for me. I haven't enjoyed a skating game for a good 4 years. I have no consoles, and iPhone nor ds have given me a really good skating game (although ds Tony Hawk American Wateland was pretty decent IMO)
Yeah... I've been waiting for another good Tony Hawk game. They died after American Wasteland. That was the best of them, and they just took everything I liked about the game, removed it, removed about 3 layers of polish, and called it a "Sequel". They even turned the story mode back into a career mode, one of the biggest advancements in the series! And then TH's Ride came out... and it just died. I really want to see the series make a comeback... until then, there's always Skate... which is a great game, but not as fun. THUG 1 (2 was good but not like the first one) and THAW were the best skateboarding games ever made, and they need to learn from that and make a comeback.
huh i thought it was awesome, especially when it first came out there were no FPS's that came even close, and I still think the multiplayer is the best around, spose thats just my opinion though...
Terminator was hilariously bad, I beat it in 50 minutes. Assassin's Creed was awful too, but I give it credit for being pretty dang long.
Terminator wasn't that bad. It was just short. The graphics were great and the game was extremely entertaining.
I'm going to have to go with skater nation also. I've tried many times and can't get used to the controls, they seem to not make any sense to me
Gameloft's games have no replay value. Worst game: H.A.W.X. Very bad graphics and awful controls. *puke*
