It still loads for me. Have you tried deleting the app then downloading directly to your device? The installed app might be corrupted or sumthin
I just ran a few tests. The installed app is not corrupt, but my login that is integrated with Facebook is somehow corrupted. I just created a new login, WITHOUT Facebook. To all those of you who I was playing before, look for game invites from Rivalsan.
Okay, that was crazy uncool! I had to delete my game from my devices, delete it from Game Center, and then remove the iCloud backup data to remove all traces of Worms 3 from my devices. Only then did the online functionality return and begin to work properly! Also, I'm no longer messing with the Facebook login stuff, I'm only using the new account that I created.
Yeah, I was having that same issue. I had to delete the app and reinstall, then it went away. I lost all my single player progress though, and my online games became corrupt. Now I'm having issues 'contacting server' and can't log in
Ugh, I had to delete and re-install the app again, this is getting really annoying. All my games are corrupt, so I apologize to any one I'm currently in a match with My games queue was full, so instead of waiting for them to become idle, I just made a new name :\ Add me for games at Wander_EX, hopefully this is the last time
My experiences with gaming and Facebook add up to one thing: don't mix the two. Actually, I find it pays to avoid Facebook altogether.
Be thankful. The code underneath the hood of Worms 3 has problems for many people. Hopefully, the developers are working diligently on patching them. Errors can strike randomly, but when they do strike, they strike HARD!
Just found out a really annoying bug which happened to me a lot of times, it's when you do something in your turn and whatever you did doesn't happen when your turn gets sent to your opponent. While playing with my wife, I had an old lady blow up 2 of her worms. And when my turn played up on here ios device, what happened was the old lady blew up my worm instead
Hi guys, sorry to hear you've been having issues with Worms 3. Please feel free to contact our support team at [email protected] with a detailed description of your problem and they'll do their very best to help you resolve any problems. Thanks.
Today, Team 17 sent me an email responding to my support email from a while back. Hopefully they are taking some of our suggestions to heart. I copied the email below: Hello Terence, Thank you for your interest and kind words regarding Worms 3. We appreciate the insight of our player base and have recorded your suggestions for later review. Thank you again for your continued support and our apologies for the lateness of this response, Team17 -----Original Message----- From: Terence Sent: 10 August 2013 16:11 To: [email protected] Subject: Worms 3 critiques from a longtime fan Team 17, I'm glad that you all made the new Worms for the ground up for iOS! I've bought Worms for the PC, PlayStation, the Dreamcast, the DS, Xbox live arcade, and iOS, and I've enjoyed the series for the past 20 years. Worms 3 is definitely better than Worms 2: Armageddon, but there are a few things that would be really great to see changed: 1. Allow us to change our aliases when we login via Facebook. If you're going to allow Facebook logins, forcing the user to use their real name for this is not cool at all. Also, the fact that if we sign up via Facebook, our account is forever linked to the email address that is on our Facebook account, which means that if we want to sign up again with our own username, we have to use a different email address than the one attached to our Facebook accounts. Some sort of warning would be great for this. Because if I would have known that in the first place, I would've never signed up via Facebook. 2. Is there a way to do implement some form of iCloud saving? For those of us who have iPads and iPhones, starting a game on one device, and then continuing it on another is a pretty big deal. Neither Worms 2 nor Worms 3 allow you to resume multiplayer games on a different device than the one that it was originally began on. Now you can get notifications on the other device, but you can't actually play the game. However, Worms 3 has worse notifications than Worms 2. The notification will only be sent to the last device that ran Worms 3. So if you have it installed on two devices, and are logged in to your Worms 3 account on both devices, whichever device that you last were playing Worms 3 on will get the notification, and the other device will receive nothing. Despite these problems, Worms 3 is so much better than Worms 2, especially in the controls department. I will continue to recommend it to others, but please, if possible, do something about these problems. Thanks much, Terence
I hope they also fix the bug where when you make a turn and it gets sent to another player, what you did in your turn doesn't actually happen with the other player's device. Sometimes, your worm just stands there doing nothing until the timer runs out, when you actually did something spectacular like a triple kill or something.
What bugs? the bug where when you make a turn and it gets sent to another player, what you did in your turn doesn't actually happen with the other player's device? So far i haven't encountered anything...yet
I was looking for that myself. I don't see a thing about it in the actual game. When that gets implemented, it will be a very good thing!
Have you tried any of the other versions of Worms for iOS? This one is amazing in comparison to Team 17's earlier efforts.
