Maybe it detects that you are using an iphone 4 and only uses the high graphics option? Since I'm on a 3gs I have an option of using them at a cost?
No pass-n-play feature? There is no pass-n-play feature? I can't seem to find it or toggle computer teams to player teams. I'm almost positive this feature is in the first worms game, I think lacking this is worse then lacking online multiplayer.
I figured it out, you have you create a new player team. It would make more sense to just beable to toggle the teams between player and AI, but oh well.
Ugh, I hope Team 17 throws down some updates for this game. I can live without retina display, but GameCenter for matchmaking would be ideal. Also, online seems to be having issues. Yesterday I wasn't able to connect to any games for a good chunk of the day, and now that I can, the connection to the other players has been less than stellar. Too many times it'll say "waiting on the other player". Which means it sits there frozen while the other person takes their turn, then afterwards I have to guess what they just did according to the aftermath of craters. I have an excellent internet connection and never had issues like this playing Worms Open Warfare 2 on the DS. I hate to sit here and complain all day, but this game needs to really step it up to fill the shoes of the superior, practically 2 year old Star Hogs.
I was also wondering...is the game tracking anybody's online stats? I've played several games now and none of my wins/losses/kill/deaths have been recorded. Unless I'm looking in the wrong place
We really should try to get everyone to play Star Hogs. To the rest of ya, to reiterate what I wrote earlier in this thread: Star Hogs did everything Worms 2 is trying to do, but way before, with additional innovative gameplay elements, two long campaigns, and upgradeable units, which added a persistent element to both offline and online play.
Amen. I love Worms to death, but Star Hogs got it all right the first time and is still better than Armageddon.
I'm in the same boat. Loaded the game... Nothing. Reset my ipod. Nope. Deleted, installed again, reset again, etc.-- Still nothing but the loading screen for about 5 seconds. Then kaput. If it just isn't compatible with my device I wish they would have said something.
