ER can anyone else not find a multi player game? it says ican play with anyone around the globe through wifi.. well i click multiplayer and almost instantly it says no games available.. i want to beleive SOMEONE wants to play multiplayer but that seems fishy
Hmmm... Just bought this game and trying out multiplayer... When you are watching your opponent play its round it sometimes just shows the text "Waiting for players" and you dont get to see anything of what he does. Is that due to bad connection? Since sometimes I get to see the action, but not allways. :/ Kinda sucks.
I'm agreeing with you. Also the first worms has an abysmal interface and I found it well nigh unplayable. Team 17 won't be getting any more of my money.
not entirely sure i ever remember team17 promising more weapons, online multiplay etc, merely they would look into it perhaps? anyways, this is a far better game over the original. having said that tho i do have a phone upgrade so it was always going to feel smoother and nicer. complete waste there is no retina display tho, really does cheapen this release but hey ho, need to get used to that i supose. not had a chance to play much and doesnt look too goof on the multiplay front but im happy with my purchase here.

Something that becomes painfully apparent when comparing Worms 1 to Worms 2 is that the sequel is quite a bit slower. Constructing and drawing the levels take longer, and the general framerate seems bit lower. Also, they removed the in-game help menu, and local multiplayer over Bluetooth. Peculiar. Bluetooth is still there when you set up a network game just scroll through the options you can set up a local game over that or WiFi and then make it private
This is the first app that I ever had that will not load my 3rd gen Ipod touch. It gets to the first screen then crashes over and over again. I tried turning off the ipod and it still wont load.
I have the version below 4.1 whatever that is.... it didnt say i needed 4.1 when I downloaded it. Im not getting 4.1 ethier i refuse to delete everything from my ipod.
I'll buy this if just ONE of these becomes true: - Retina support - Asynchronous multiplayer - Price drop Those three things are the main disappointments for me. I love the first Worms (and all the PC versions) and I know Team 17 is capable of more for $5.... A quick note about multitasking: Maybe I'm a cheater, but in the first Worms I would hit the home button after making a bad shot and grant myself a second chance. Multitasking would be great, but part of me would miss my "undo" button...
I have no idea why it wasn't mentioned in the TA review but there is an option for "High Graphics" in the settings. It is off by default and turning it on gives a disclaimer about the game looking better but may stutter. It's recommended for newer gen devices *it stutters a bit on my 3gs* I don't know if it would be retina quality but maybe someone with an iphone 4 could chime in with impressions of the high graphics mode
