Just installed it on my daughters 1st gen ipad, it crashed on loading maps. I then closed out everything running in the background and tried again, it still crashed when loading maps. Finally, I shut off the ipad completely and restarted it, then it worked fine. I haven't tried on iphone 3g's or ipod touch 4's yet but when i do I will let ya know how it works. My guess is, the devices with less ram will need to be on a fresh boot to run it fine.
Dang! I did buy the game & the battle pack (my 1st dlc ever!) Now time to remind Team 17 that they cheated all the worms fans by promising multiplayer on the 1st one & came out with another / separate version. Muhahahaha For those worried about the way this works, It is smooth on my 2g ipod touch - not jail broken!
How do you get the forts game setting to work? I tried going into game settings and selecting it but when i went to quick game there were no forts? So basically how do you change your game settings for the quick games?
I never played the first one but I bought this one and I keep killing myself. Lol but it seems fun. Maybe I need some practice. Should I get the battle pack is it needed?
Bought the game right when it came out, well worth the $5. And I'd reccomend it even more now that the game is on sale. Especially to people who enjoyed playing the original worms on the old PC's or playing the game on xbox. Great game. For some reason, when I see the DLC battle pack ad in the front title screen, it's in German, and the description of the DLC is in German as well. Why is this??
Hmmm...I have downloaded it, all is perfect but not sure about the controls. The problem is: the game is perfect for people that have never played worms on PC, but I have played worms, worms: armageddon and worms 3D for much time on my PC...so I can't get used of the iPhone controls, cause they are of course less confortable (i.e.: I can't do the amazing "game" with the rope... as to say, seeing the worm swinging with a rope and hook again and again until he reaches the enemy). But I suppose I have to play Worms 2 some more time and all will be fine, so...in a word...great game, for a buck is highly recommended
So does online multiplayer work without the IAP? If so do those that have the IAP get an advantage in multiplayer?
Some sorta goof up on their part - everything but the DLC description is in English. Adds enough to be worth the extra buck IMHO. I've been enjoying it, but I still like the control scheme in Star Hogs better overall.
Thts a good question, there are a few extra weapons in the DLC (I can't point out though) But, may be the multiplayer disables them when the other party does not have DLC, may be it does not. I think the FB page of team 17 is a better place to ask this question?
