Everyone should at least give it a go. The only thing I'd really like to see is GameCenter. jgainsbrugh Well-Known Member Aug 8, 2013 116 0 0 #3 jgainsbrugh, Feb 10, 2014 Your game is awesome! The only thing I would add is maybe more bosses or power ups or equipment. Thank you! Is there an end boss?.. Waynetron Member Jan 17, 2014 21 0 0 #4 Waynetron, Feb 10, 2014 Yep, there's an end boss. Although admittedly the format for fighting the boss isn't any different to any of the other monsters. Just harder. deckard Well-Known Member Mar 25, 2009 528 0 0 Tampa, FL #5 deckard, Feb 11, 2014 I don't see any documentation ingame, what do the item descriptions mean; J+1 point or M+2 pts, what do the letters stand for? Andre Well-Known Member Apr 11, 2012 3,643 2 38 #6 Andre, Feb 11, 2014 Thanks for sharing. Waynetron Member Jan 17, 2014 21 0 0 #7 Waynetron, Feb 11, 2014 Deckard, An item with J+1 gives a bonus 1 point to any J tiles that you play. You'll notice the J tile will be green instead of yellow in-game. Did anyone else have trouble following? Was hoping to scrape by without doing a tutorial or instructions. zdn1042 Well-Known Member May 10, 2013 642 0 0 #8 zdn1042, Feb 11, 2014 Thanks for the heads up! dclose Well-Known Member Nov 20, 2011 1,866 0 0 #9 dclose, Feb 11, 2014 I downloaded the Android version last night, over on Google Play, and my husband loaded it on his device too. He doesn't like word games, but he simply couldn't stop play this one. He, too, wondered what the M+1 tiles and things like that meant, so a bit more explanation in-game would be appreciated. He eventually figured out that it probably meant those particular letters were worth more that game. But congrats on making a really fun battling game that uses words. The humor is delightful! Love the "keep of my grass!" monster remarks! Trevor Well-Known Member Feb 5, 2009 371 0 16 #10 Trevor, Feb 12, 2014 I'm loving it too. I figured out the "c+1" thing right away, but on another day it might not have dawned on me; so little instructions should be helpful. Waynetron Member Jan 17, 2014 21 0 0 #11 Waynetron, Feb 13, 2014 It was one of my goals to have the game playable without any kind of tutorial. But it seems that there are a lot of people getting confused by the item upgrades. Will have to look into ways of making that more obvious. Edit: I'm about halfway through the map and I do have one suggestion (but no idea how feasible it is)...is there a way to implement a definition display when you select a word that's already been played on the board? I had to switch to a dictionary app to check out "howff" (could not believe it was a real word!), but it broke the flow a bit. javamex Well-Known Member Feb 25, 2012 154 0 0 http://www.solitairewhizz.com/ #13 javamex, Feb 13, 2014 Nice twist on standard word game Thanks for sharing -- I think this is a nice twist on standard word games with the introduction of the various items. Definitely worth checking out for those who haven't yet! Waynetron Member Jan 17, 2014 21 0 0 #14 Waynetron, Feb 26, 2014 Nocteris, A word lookup is something I'd like to add in the future. It gets asked for quite a lot actually. Thanks for the support guys mr_bez Well-Known Member Dec 20, 2012 2,053 3 38 #15 mr_bez, Sep 14, 2014 Free again. Enjoyed this one.
