    Hey,

First of all, thanks to everyone who has already bought the game and especially to ones that have given valuable feedback! It's been a good ride so far! I'm a bit dumbfounded how iLounge gave it a full "A" rating and how positive the overall response has been!

Anyway, the first Wooden Labyrinth 3D update has been completed. I've listened to your feedback, and decided to completely ignore it! :) Heheh, kidding. Anyway, here's a small list of stuff that's going to show up shortly on the App Store!

    - Fine-tuned, more realistic, 3D-effect. (way less head-ache inducing)
    - More sensitive jumping. Needs only a slight "nudge" or a finger tap.
    - 50 new, high-quality levels. These are really some of the best so far.
    - Jump bug fixed. If you land in a hole or bounce "on a hole", you sink. No more bunny hopping through levels. :)
    - Small visual fixes here and there.
    - Some minor level design issues corrected (getting stuck in holes..)
    - Some background work for the looming level editor...

Now that this is done, the next step is the level editor. As I've told before, this will be an online editor built on flash. You get a code, make the levels, and you download the level pack on device with the code. You may then share the pack with others and continue to make changes to it with a password system. It's going to be cool. :)

Here's the old youtube clip, to refresh your memory of the game.

    Nooooooooo :(

Just wondering because I really am curious, what was causing the bug?

Awesome! I can't wait for more levels. :D

It's a shame about the jumping invincibility though. I liked that bug. :(

Hefty update! Thanks very much for providing continued support for the game.

The level editor will be another great feature.

If you like the bug, make sure you finish the jump levels before the update. :D

After the fix the game feels better and offers a more balanced challenge.

Oh and what caused it? A simple "_bouncing == YES;" instead of "_bouncing = YES;" :(

Thank you so much for all your updates. I've been waiting for specifically these bugs and little things to be fixed. I think I'll give this game another shot then. ^^

Yes! Thanks so much:D I was having so much trouble with jumping that I just skipped those levels altogether. And 50 more levels? That should keep me busy for a while. BTW, will the level editor require a internet connection to your iDevice, or just an internet connection(of course)?

Hmm, this is strange. I never got the email telling "application ready for sale", but Wooden Labyrinth 3D Lite seems to be up on App Store. Go check it out! (App got approved during weekend?... What is going on?)

Have to add here for GatorDeb about the hole-less levels which he wished for in the previous thread.

I created few levels without holes and they seemed to offer a fair bit of challenge by using jumping. However, I noticed that these levels could also be really infuriating when trying to obtain better times as after a mistake you would basically have to manually restart the level from the pause menu.

So what I did was that I added holes in some places to ease the restarting. This turned out fairly well and now the holes are not there as obstacles but as an aid for perfecting your score. Actually those levels might be among the best ones in this update.

Sure took its time to show up on App Store, but Wooden Labyrinth 3D has finally been updated to 1.1. Enjoy the new levels and fixes. I'll get back to work on the editor. :)

    Playing it right now.

I don't have to say how great this game is again but here my only request: as soon as we start a level please add not only Par Time but also Developer's Time.

Right now I start a level knowing only the Par Time. If I beat the Par Time the game does not even show me that I have the Developer's time to beat. I'd like to keep playing a level until I beat both times but right now it is not as clear as it can easily be.

    Thanks! :)

That's why you should always use the reverse format,
    Code:
    YES == _bouncing
to prevent those errors :) The compiler won't allow you to accidentally type
    Code:
    YES = _bouncing
because you can't assign anything to
    Code:
    YES
    .

haha, maybe this isn't the place for such talk...
