Adding separate difficulty options is likely not as easy as you might think. It requires going through and rebalancing the game from front to back for each difficulty setting. This is a game made by just two people, and that second boss fight was a difficulty spike that was likely turning off a large portion of their players right at a crucial point after launch. They've been really good about listening to any and all feedback and implementing it into the game, and I'd wager they'll consider adding separate difficulty settings in a future update. But for the short term the right move was to nerf that difficulty wall as quickly as possible to not stop the momentum the game has been getting and they can always go back and do a more thorough rebalancing with separate difficulty settings at a later date. The game's only been out for two weeks, let's be patient and see what comes in the future.
Yes, that's exactly what I was thinking about, you know me I'd like to add handle support in recent updates, and then consider adding difficulty options, followed by an arena mode to really test the players'desire to challenge. Thank you for your patience and consideration for the difficulties caused by only two people
Don’t be silly! Difficulties caused by two people? Your work (and after sales support) has been absolutely astounding.
Loving this game, as any CC can would. Can anyone share a tip on how to beat the spider lady boss? I can’t seem to master her pattern...
For her, my main strategy I used is one I use for most of the bosses. When they go in and attack you, roll right as they're about to hit you, which will trigger an i-frame (invincibility). This is the best way to mitigate damage. Also, I used the Ice ultimate move for her. I've actually decided that I like this skill's ult more than the fire one. You get a support creature that will attack the enemy constantly for a long period of time. This is good for boss battles with multiple enemies as it can take the pressure off all the things attacking you. The fire ult is good for one foe heavy damage while the Ice ult is good for groups of enemies (which is a lot of the boss battles).
One little request PuppetDepot. I know people have already talked about improve the sword comparison for pickups, but another thing is that the sword will eventually disappear. I didn’t know that and was in a boss fight, and I had two weapons to pick up after killing the boss (hard to do while fighting the boss!). While I’m comparing, the second weapon flashes and disappears. And it was a freaking light saber! Sigh. Please consider weapon picks ups only fading if you already have that weapon, or not fading at all...or a timer countdown when it’s about to go away so I know I have to get it now, even if it means taking a hit from a boss etc. Thank you, amazing work!
Any ETA on the MFI update? I really want to get back and play the game(played the first levels and loved it) but I wait for MFI since it will take it to the next level
MFI Controller support is all done, just prepare to submit it to apple, you should be able to update it in a week. Cheers!
I’ve managed to get to this point now, this one is tough as nails... good idea in the leveling up, maybe I’m too weak as well - or my patience is not enough to endure the time needed evading and lading a few hits to defeat this one.
While i’m still buying games that i probably will never finish (like the top Barbearian or super charming Suzy Cube), this wonderful game has absorbed all my little gaming time...and now i’m shocked with this terrifying end Congrats my dear Devs! PS: just left a 5***** review in my swiss app store. So damn deserved! PS: other Devs prove me wrong, please!, but this might be my game of the year, already!
