Doom was just submitted yesterday those are words from carmacks mouth and a story i ready on toucharcade...so it should be out next week woot...
Update sounds great! This was one of the first games I bought when I got my iPhone. Can't wait to check out the new levels! Downloading update now!

I WAS getting the crashes but after erasing it off my phone and redownloading from appstore all is well, great to see spear of destiny added for the price of nothing, My one question is where is the option for upgraded OR original graphics? This was supposed to be in this update, anyways great update, cant wait for Doom, glad it finally got submitted.

Anyone having issue with SOUND? It VERY soft? Even with volume cranked or with headphones. I'm using a 2G ipod Touch, with 3.1.2, I have rebooted, but the same. Damn, otherwise good update.

It doesnt take Zip Files, which 99% of .Map Files are located in.... Nice feature but impossible unless you have your own server to unzip them on.
Right, I'm going to set up a FREE hosting service for people who want their maps up in one place. It'd be nice to have an iPhone friendly page dedicated to keeping map macks consolidated. The host is reliable (and expensive), and so there is plenty (unlimited) space and bandwidth for such a service. I loved (and still do) map editing for wolf3d, and just could not pass this by. I can already host things up now. Send me a DM if you want to upload a map. Or, post a topic in the general section of my forums (http://www.nick.fuseirc.net) there is also a relatively impressive wolfenstein project being hosted there if you want to check that out. I'll see if I can get everything sorted soon so you can get to the goodness this wolfenstein map editing.
