Why would anyone HATE you for not liking a game? You are entitled to your own opinions. I LOVE crystal defenders and I think its the best TD available, and I could care less what anyone thinks.

It looks largely legit, but I find this suspicious: Unless I'm wrong and some method has been discovered in the SDK, you can't do that. If you use audio APIs in your app, it will automatically fade out music playing via the iPod app and use your sound instead -- at least, that's how I understand it.
It just means that the sfx will be loud enough to hear over the music. "Mix" is a term in the audio industry that means to "balance"
Yes, that I know. (I write music, kind of important. ) What I was saying was that doesn't the SDK disallow using the audio hardware concurrently with the iPod application? As in, if you use sound, it will automatically cut off the iPod application (like it does when the phone rings or an alarm goes off) so you have exclusive use of the audio hardware? That's what I understand anyway.
Mindfield, you have to set the AudioSession Category to AmbientSound before initializing OpenAL for it to mix iPod music with your app's sounds. It definitely works. I implemented it in Wolf3D.
Really? Damn. I gotta remember that. People tend to complain when you shut off their music, so that's perfect. In that case, the update sounds awesome. A fully custom UI is fantastic -- I like the default layout as it is, but I'd probably like to move the fire button closer, or maybe to the other side.

i used to love wolfenstein but im not getting anymore fps's on the app store. They just dont work for me on the iphone.
no i dont think you can but its worth it and on your long journey you can save battery by not using sound turning off wifi and turning brghtness down to zer0(hope i could help(but not really just buy the game its totally worth it)
yeah i will do i think, looks awesome! never played but it looks like doom so i shall buy after no country for old men downloads never bought a movie of itunes, hope it works for ipods.
