Our games are family friendly so you can have a shiny metal pole to store your helmets. You will get a four poster bed in our next game however to use for family friendly uses--like restoring your health and mana.
I was only kidding about the maid. I played your Waerloga expansion for Redshift's Legacy. You know you can still buy the PC version of Legacy from them. Why did you pattern your first independent iOS game after Waerloga? It's different in a lot of ways. But the main story is pretty much the same. The way you carry out the main mission is a little bit different. And the quests are different. I love the quests. Hope you will focus more on those in the future and a little less on the fighting. Exploration is one of my main satisfactors. I thought the gong sticks to enter the guy's study was great. The gong sound as you enter the lamp is terrific. What made you decide to sort of port that particular story to iOS rather than make a new one? I know you'd have no prob making a new one cause you have about 10+ expansions out there for the Quest not to mention your expansions for Legacy. Why did you start with this One?
Started with this one because it was the first game I ever made. : ) And I loved the story and wanted to do it in 3d. Spent a lot of time on the terrains to make sure it looked good in 3d. Waerloga means Oathbreaker and that's what he does. He breaks his oath to his ancestors to protect the five books of Solomon. Indeed he not only breaks his oaths, he steals the books and then gives them for safekeeping to --in the original a gypsy girl --and in this version to Potionista, the potion seller in Beachtown. The demons manage in both cases to get the books. Where they're found and all the other quests are different. The demons' names are still the same but they hide out in different places. Once we thought of the magic lamp as a way to get to Warloga's study, it was only a small jump to figure out you'd need something and the gong sticks were a natural. And I also loved the gong sound when you're successful. It took me awhile to figure out you should get a message from the statues you get the gong sticks from to let you know whether you'd found the right rune to place there. : ) Changed the name of the wizard from Waerloga to Warloga because it sounded more better. : ) Changed the name to Wizzard Island because my partner Dr. Vlad thought it would be more distinctive. Little did he know that searching for Wizzard Island as opposed to Wizard Island in the app store might be a real pain. : ) Live and loins.
Big thanks! Hope you enjoy! : ) If you don't like fighting you can still do all the quests and finish the game. If you do like fighting, you can kill some monsters and you get a tally of how many you've killed. In some future life, I'll enable a way for you to post this awesome number to Leaderboards but right now exhausted from just doing the minimap in the update which hasn't updated yet but hopefully soon! You get reputation points for finishing quests and when you have enough, you can get a reward from the statue of the Wind Spirit in Warloga's Grove. It's nice. : ) In the update which hasn't updated yet, you get your own quarters when you've = found the five books for Warloga returned them to his Ancestors' Barrows and bring him back their pardons--- there'll be a teleporter in his study you can activate-- but still waiting for the update to update so right now you just get adventure and other rewards. And the alchemy ability which can make you so rich, you'll never have to rely on credit cards again. : )
And of course you can save me from something---this time I think my brain flew off from my body and I got a new one--a body that is---same old brain.
I have just downloaded the update. Finished the previous version of the game. Loved it ! Nice mix of quests and scenery. Looking forward to exploring what's new. Thanks
Please let me know if anything needs repositioning and if you have any problem getting to your quarters after you've done BOTH Warloga's quests.
That's great! Next update has new icons for buttons for accessing your inventory, stats, gear, etc. and for the compass. : ) Didn't get them in time for this update but think they are imho quite nice.
They look really pretty. I'm going to try and play the game now without killing any monsters...should be a challenge.
Ok it might take some thought and time but with teleport travel it might be possible. Anyone else tried it?
Yah! You can do it if you move fast and he doesn't't spawn close to you but you have do have to have the teleport scroll to get out fast and use Big Heal to fix you health up. :cool
Yah! Didn't have to fight him. Just moved fast and healed fast. He spawned too far away too hurt me much. I could have killed him easily though. Did it many times. Just went back for you to see if I could do it. You have to be fast though.
I have put some promo codes for Wizzard Island up in the Promo Code forum. If you use them, please post THERE so I can keep track. Thanks. iOS 7 +
By the way, did anyone find my new body? Check out Professor Flitzgrobber's quest --- Find Cat's Brain--- My new body could be either of these --- Seriously, who do you think is cuter? ^^
