This looks excellent ! Golf, retro, and rpg. Best combo ever! Make sure u have some power ups and boss monsters or boss holes or something. Did I just say boss hole? Hehe
We will have power ups like ice spells, fire spells etc. Still trying out some boss holes. Will see if that works well or if it is just annoying

Cool deal. Can't say I've ever heard of the igda but I'll check it out. I've been making iPhone apps for about 2-3 years but I've only been working on my first ios game for about 3 months so I'm not really up on all the game dev stuff yet. New levels: Hedge Maze Hey bunch of new updates for Wizard Golf RPG: - Much much better collision detection and aiming - no more circle, you can just touch anywhere to aim. - The aim arrow is much more precise - We now have different terrain that affects how fast the ball moves (think fairways vs rough) - Two new worlds, a hedge maze, and a spider filled catacomb, - Barrels! Awesome Barrels!
Updates look good excited to try it. Have not really had time to look into any conventions but thanks for the info. I'm hoping to submit to apple next weekend after that I'll have some time to look into marketing and whatnot.
Yea planning to submit this upcoming weekend. Just have a few tweaks to do for ipad and then the rest is just testing through each class 1 more time which should take about 25-30 hours since i know the game inside and out.
Quick note; double-check the scaling factor on your text. In the last screenshot, the sprites look great but the text looks wonky. If you're using bitmap fonts, make sure you're using a scaling factor that's "supported" by the font (eg: if the font is 16px base, you can't scale it to 20px without artifacts. You could scale it to 32px, however, because it's a multiple of 16px. 48px would also work etc... ) Shown below: same font at three different sizes. Because of how pixel fonts scale, some sizes work, and some don't. Depends on the font.
