    Ok, I've been taking the weekend off, but I'll look into it tomorrow. I tried to run it on my old 5S and it didn't work, so it should be easy to fix. I think it's memory related...

    That's crazy, haha! It's impossible for the tail to get stuck, so it must be a problem somewhere else that manifest itself with this strangeness... I'll look into it tomorrow!

    Looks amazing and feels great!

    This is truly a beautiful game and it feels really good to fly around so freely. I'd be surprised if this game won't be a success, it should be. I love it.

    0.8.1.9 is out!

    Huge update:
    New particle system
    New gorgeous waterfalls with 6 channel 3D audio
    New “hawk-eye” first person camera with 50 % more drawing distance
    New unified creature system with more cross interactions
    Persistant, multi-level fish (find them via the birds)
    Swimming birds (pelican and duck for now)
    Lots of performance enhancements - much less lag on iOS 9
    iPhone 5s fix (sorry it took so long)
    Less memory consumption = less crashes when generating terrain
    Nicer mountain biome (more peaks)
    New fish: sailfish and swordfish

    Tested on iOS 8.1, 8.4, 9.0.2. (iPhone5s, iPad Air, iPhone6)

    Available both on website and testflight. New testers always welcome!

    Is it still possible to take this for a test drive... uhmmm flight?
    I've got both the iPhone 6 Plus and the iPad Air 2 to test it on.
    If not, when will this game be unleashed on the AppStore? :)

    No idea! But probably in the start of 2016. Things are taking their sweet time, want it to be as good as possible! :)

    This is not just a game. This is not just a flight simulator. This is a privilege!

    The new update is absolutely gorgeous! Mountain is my new favorite biome...especially because of the new waterfalls!

    I can't wait til the video record option comes back!!! going to be fun capturing beautiful epic moments!

    Although this gif is not the best as I was not recording video at the time it's still worth sharing...

    Here's the story. I was flying along and saw this cool looking waterfall cave so I flew into it and perched. After landing I saw this deer playing around in the waterfall within the cave so I decided to take a few shots.

    What a wonderful little world Fugl is!!!

    Basically FuglTeam, except the initial loading time, and the stage loading, which i don't know if it can be shortened, i think there is no reason why you couldn't launch it next week :)

    It's an amazing experience as it is now. Technically, i find that everything works, the flight model feels perfect, the controls are spot on, in short - i think we can have the 1.0 release version, and you can keep working on biomes, ideas etc as updates. From me, as a tester from 0.1 alpha, you have the check mark for launch, and all my best wishes!

    This has happened to me twice in the latest update (see attachment). When I perch, my wings remain in flying position and I can't move or do anyhting else anymore. Also, after perching when I try to fly away again, the bird makes this turn/roll in the air and I almost always end up crashing into the mountain/tree. This didn't happen in the previous builds. By the way, I would love to have some sort of control scheme for perching, right now I feel it's just a bit too random, sometimes it works and I am able to perch, but most of the times I just fly over the spot where I wanted to perch. Maybe a pinch out gesture?

    I also love the new mountain biome, by the way!

    Yeah, the perching controls are very much a work in progress. I found the error regarding the bumpy take-offs, but I've had a hard time recreating the extended wings problem. Is it happening at the start of the perching sequence? Like you never really land? Or does it happen randomly after walking on the ground?
