Hey, Just interested to see if anyone on here has a windows phone, or any interest in them. I have just been given a Lumia 920 as my work phone, and there are some interesting Microsoft specific games on this device.
I've had played with several Lumia phones, to be honest, still you can't compare the gaming quality on iOS vs Windows phone. The iOS App store is pretty big! I tried to stick to the Lumia for few days, then I gave up ..
How is the experience? I know iOS devices tend to have better framerate compared to their android counterparts. I've had people wonder why the 4s runs GTA as well as their device despite being the Galaxy Note 3. There is a YouTube comparison between devices playing Modern Combat 5 and it showed the iPhone 6 plus having the best frame rate and highest graphic quality available. I would be curious to know if Windows has the same experience.
Our games on Windows Phone +1 from me. We have three of our games available on Windows Phone right now, which means basically all of them. We're there.
I was almost going to buy a linx 7 to play with just because it was so cheap and I'd have liked to have seen what windows stuff I could get running. But no joke the very same day Microsoft reported that devices under 8 inches would lose the desktop on Windows 10 so I pretty much dropped the idea.
Yeah, I know what you mean, these Windows tablets have a lot of weirdnesses, put mildly. Honestly, though, running desktop on 1Gb ram? Also, no need for desktop to try some Store games out. Like Monkey Labour, hint hint.
