Meh. I've yet to see the attraction to WP7. Maybe Xbox owners might find it cool because of its XBL integration, but I just can't see what it's got to offer beyond that. Can't stand that UI either.
I want to get one but the hardware doesn't impress me at all and I hate how other companies keep bringing out new hardware every month, prefer how Apple do it once a year so you know where you are. If Microsoft made a Phone every year then I'd get that.
i think this might really give iGaming a tough competition, but i think first games for this device will just be ports of original iDevice games then some developers will make one original for it then port it to iDevice or could be vice-versa
I actually like the limited choice apple gives its customers. Makes life quite a bit easier. Too many choices arent always a good thing for everyone. (Yes, I know I sound like a fanboy, but I really do prefer it this way)
As easy as it would be to whip our wangs out and piss all over Windows Phone 7, something to keep in mind is that this is a 1.0 release. Remember what iPhone 1.0 was like?
Yeah. The more choices you have, the more research you have to do. I'd much rather choose from 5 great devices than 30 decent ones. I'm sticking with Apple.
App Store? What's an App Store? The iPhone isn't a smartphone, silly! Steve said so! Remarkable how quickly and dramatically the smartphone landscape changed once that blasted "jailbreak" nonsense and constant barrage of requests made Stevie realize third party apps might, you know, be kind of a good idea.
I will reserve my wang whipping until I've checked it out. If Gruber defender of the faith thinks it's pretty cool then anything is possible. I personally think the UI is quite appealing, very sleek. Although I don't know how practical the headings are in use, going off half the page like that.
Im super cereal. It's not better than what iOS is at currently. but I see potential in this. Especially as an avid XBL user lol.
