I made this today, but I'm not sure what to call it... I went with food cans too, instead of generic ones, hopefully that's okay. They're escaping from picture frames.
I'm an awful artist, but how about... A cartoon of a cowboy-esque militiaman standing along the US-Mex border. The cowboy has a rifle slung over his shoulder, and there are a bunch of shot-up cans littering the ground. The border is clearly marked with a half-collapsed fence, and you can see signs on each side that say "US" and "Mexico". At the bottom of the graphic, a line of text that reads, for ex: "Think you can do better than a Minuteman with a full moon?" "To win, you need to take out more cans than this guy!" "Cans don't stand a chance." I'm thinking that the buzz surrounding the offensiveness of the graphic will get you tons of free publicity, even if you end up having to pull it.
How about a special flags mode where you knock down cans in the shape of flags from around the world.
Don't keep your artworks in the drawer. We want to see them all! Only few more days left. Please publish your creative ideas a soon as possible.
I drew these three ideas when doodling. The first one is using the catapult to throw the can at different stacks of cans on the table. Next is the conveyor belt with lots of different stacks of cans. You got limited time to swing your tennis racket to hit the ball which will bounce off the wall to hit the cans. The last idea is the golf course. You swing the golf club to navigate the ball to hit the cans as well as to reach the hole. It is a golf game with cans. In-game purchase can include different items to hit the ball as illustrated.
I started making this one today before I realized it's a copyright issue. It was gonna be "Can of War"
