I bought the full ipad game. Here is my idea. Add the option Flood. Have it spread out over several tiles. At the end of the chain if you hit the water it will spread out over all 7 tiles including the one with water icon. Next time you hit the water you will flood 19 tiles in total. Limit it to 19 tiles in total. Sofar my idea.

Very 'rich' app, love the feel of it. As for input, the phrase 'Last Temple' conjures for me Tigers and Monkeys, Indiana Jones (etc). There's a million places you could go with touching on Indiana Jones without I think getting into any legal issues. Anyway, a tiger match would cause some big paw to come across the screen and 'scratch' some tiles away with its nails. Monkey match would throw/splat some random tiles onto the screen, akin to those monkeys that like to throw their feces. Touching on Indy, maybe a specific idol match or maybe just a big rock match would make a big boulder run across the screen (in a random direction) destroying tiles underneath. A neat effect would also be some dynamite, but once the adjoining pieces 'blow up', instead of disappearing, the 'hole' would be filled with the pieces close to the 'hole', and the pieces that were exploded, would instead go to the outside of the puzzle to take the place of the ones that went in to fill the hole. i'm thinking of a toroid magnetic looking shape/effect (in terms of the 3d animation with the tiles) Just a couple anyway.
I think this game is nice. It can used to uncover some words in some of the puzzles. At some of the stages, the words can be used to form a riddle. Whoever who solve the riddle get past the gate into the another world. Each of the worlds have their own riddles with beautiful landscapes and it is endless fun for everyone. If you are sick of solving, you can bail out at any time and claim the credit to buy power-ups for the next game. I call these special levels - The mysterical world with riddles.
I don't think I have seen all the features or spells, but here are some thoughts if they aren't already in-game. Perhaps you could have some levels with a little pixie (like the fairy) that instead of helping you she randomly flips over a tile to one that doesn't match it's neighbors. Or maybe you could have an option of replaying levels you have already beaten with a gold medal but with a modifier, such as the fairy or slimes or cut the clock in half. The prize could be double the rubies if you succeed in a gold medal again.
Game ideas... The game looks and feels great. Thanks. My four best ideas: Blank tile: the blank tile can be touched to change to any of the other tiles. If it has not been touched, it can not be removed from the board. It could have a question mark icon on it, or just be blank, as in the scrabble game. Wind tile: when played, there is a "wind" sound effect as a gust of wind blows tiles off screen to the right. this seems in keeping with the game theme. Fence icon: turns all tiles on the outside of the board blue. Invert tile: switches the background color of all tiles. This can help or hinder, depending on whether you have mostly blue or mostly non-blue when it's played.
Oops, Ive got another good one: Bridge tile: allows you to join two different types of tiles together for big scores. Eg you could be collecting one type of tile, then click the bridge, then touch any other tile beside the bridge and now you can finish your move with the second tile type. Nice and strategic.

Got the iPad full version HD game - very nice looking game; love the graphics ! I'd love to see "Grinning Skulls" tiles, that would add to your overall score if you get three or more in a chain, and "Angry Skulls" that would substract from your score unless you can manage to get at least five or six in a chain ! This would tie in nicely whith other aspects of the game. Congrats on a great game, and good luck with sales !
A survival mode as follows Game of life mode. Blank field apart some random tiles and tiles reproduce like in a game of life. The player, instead of removing tiles, can insert a limited number of tiles of choice to influence the evolution. Plus while a tile is occupied bonuses can appear like in the normal game ... But here their effect can help or ruin a game!
Have the HD version and a few things I'd like to see that I hope would not require major effort to implement: 1) Gauge with Spells: As it stands I have no clue how close I am to having a given spell powered up, any chance you could add either a graphical meter or just display a simple percentage number next to each disabled spell to let me know how close I a, to activating it? 2) Track Best Score for Completed Challenges: This might already be there but if not please show the best completing local score for each challenge (as you do in the Campaign). So nothing sexy, just basic shoot that would really make a difference.
Mix some rpg elements would be great some of my ideas: Goodie 1. Time Bomb - sets a time bomb on a tile and when explodes, same tiles will be destroyed 2. Sand storm - turns an area of tile become sand (brown) *clears the area* Baddie 1. Stone gaze- makes some tile unable to move for a certain time Neutral : 1. Slots machine - random a goodie or baddie 2. Twister - reshuffles the tile 3. Time machine - random : makes time slow, stop, or fast forward That is for now, will edit my post if I came across anymore in my mind
I would suggest a big snake that fires down from the top turning all hexes (that it touch) into blue ones. This would fit the them. As well as icons which (collected) freeze slimes, time and this stupid bugs cheers
I'm really enjoying the game so far, here are my suggestions (if some of my ideas have already been mentioned I really apologize, it is not my intention to do so) It would be really nice to be three abilities: fire, water and wind Fire: using it, you chose one element and tiles with this element(depending on the "strength" of this ability) burn turning into blue Water: a wave comes from the downside turning the down rows to blue Wind: chosing the side you want(left or right) wind blows turning the left or right columns to blue tiles The way each ability improves depends on the score. After each stage you earn points that you are able to use them in two different ways: a) Increase the amount of times each ability can be used in one the next stage b) Incease the "strength" of each ability Regarding b) here is my idea: Fire: the scale is about how many tiles will turn into blue after using it Water: increasing is about how many rows of tiles will turn to blue Wind: the same as water Of course, since increasing the strength of the abilities can turn the difficulty of the game to really easy, I propose the inreament of the strength to be much more difficult than the amount of times. The up limit for Water and Wind could be 3 or 5, no limit should be for Fire As an example, let's say you have Wave amount 3, strength 2: it means you can use 3 times the Wave at the next stage and each time 2 rows from downside will turn to blue As a sum up, depending on the points you earn at one stage you could increase the amount of the times an ability can be used, and depending on the rubins you collect, you could increase the strenthg of each ability Another cool option would be a "Question MArk" tile. Passing through this tile, a surprise would br triggered: A time bonus, a number of tiles turn into blue, a number of blue tiles turn into brown, an explosion or a time loss
Bought full iPhone version, really like the game. I have a few(take notice that I did not read everyones post so if somehow my idea is similar to yours, it was not intended). First could be Cluster where if you go over it, it replaces all other tiles around in a cluster and or it shoots out four diagonal bombs that explode and create clusters of similar tiles. Next can be river or stream that let's you chose where a river or stream flows down the Board and sways new tiles into place. Last could be double barrel or violating where you tap on a tile anywhere you want and it takes out five tiles in the region of that board. I'll come up with more later. Oh and two more things, I think any other choice should do with the elements: fire earth water wind. So here are a couple more: fire creates a path of flames up tiles and burns then off the board for points. Wind; blows tiles into other creating patterns. Earth; brings a earthquake or rock mount up from under the tiles destroying them or throwing them somewhere and last Elemental; it either does all four element powers at once or brings up a myriad of new tiles of different colors, or maybe clears the board but the first one sound the best to me. Hope I helped out with my ideas, the game is awesome.
