Not quite an in game screenshot, no. Think of it as a fan art style competition. So far people have submitted photoshop pics and even lego models. Basically, it has to somehow be related to the Edge world, or the famous cube. 1. Build it, draw it, paint it, create it, (cook it?) whatever you like! 2. Take a photo of it (or attach it) 3. Send it to [email protected] Easy!
It's Mobigame who deal with the distribution of Edge on iPhone. I think it'll be back up soon though - hopefully that whole legal drama is over! Have any of you guys thought up some cube-y ideas? We've had some pretty diverse entries so far. See some of them on the Facebook page I'd love to show off some of your creations on there too.
that's a great idea Chap! We had a lot of fun to create the album cover with sugar, I wish some EDGE fans will have great ideas. I know there are a lot on TouchArcade, they were especially good on the last contest (a time trial on Edge Time). also, EDGE for the iPod/iPhone will be back soon, I cannot tell you more yet but if you have another mobile you should try the Java version. Anyway we are still working on cool other games for the iPhone to be announced really soon good luck everyone!

We aren't going to judge the contest on people's photoshop skills - it's all about creativity! Look at this I found on the net - major props to whoever made it:

Very artsy fartsy and cool looking. I would have changed "IN" to "ON" or live life on the edge, but that's just an opinion. But I really like it.
Mobigame distribute the iPhone version of Edge. They're a member on this forum so I'm sure you can ask them!
