I'm debating this right now. I have an iPad 2, 64GB, but I kind of want to sell it for funds for the iPad 3. If you do plan on selling it, what service will you use to do so?
Well it's probably silly to have both but I've always maintained the iPad 2 has never been pushed to it's potential it makes me think the iPad 3 won't really be much of an improvement except for the screen. If you are going to sell now might be the best time though as I think Apple will continue to sell the iPad 2 at a reduced price alongside number 3. For a rough idea of what you might lose link
You're right about the potential for sure. That's why I'm debating selling it. There's a lot of discussion on macrumors too. Gazelle and other services provide a safety net, but don't gather the same amount cragislist/ebay does.
I posted mine for sale on eBay a few hours ago. Not so I can get the iPad 3, but because I need the money. I figured logic would prevail here, people would see the price of the iPad 3 and consider buying an iPad 2 for cheaper instead. At least thats the way I would look at it. So if ya know any interested buyers send them my way.
If I upgrade, which is a big IF, I will keep my iPad 2 as well and that will be for my wife and kids.
