I know it won't run Minecraft at perfect settings but will it run basic Minecraft without lag?
Any help would be awesome thanks.

(I'm on my iPod so I can't really check for myself.)

I'd say it probably should but the intel graphics probably won't be up to much more than that if you want to game more I'd be looking at ATI or NVIDIA graphics cards.

You should also be able to pick up HP pc's very cheap soon if not already as they just stopped making them you might even be able to use that to barter the price down.

lol my 2.4Ghz computer with an Nvidia dinosaur and 800mb DDR2 ram runs minecraft.

Edit: on the second highest render distance, pretty effects turned off (except for smooth lighting, I love smooth lighting)

You can go try out Minecraft classic right now, if your computer runs well on that, then it should be fine for the paid version.

I'm using an HP Pavilion dv6 that has an Intel HD graphics card, and it's being a pain >.> Since it's a laptop, I'm a bit nervous as to who to go to so that I can replace the graphics card, or if I'm going to replace it at all. It runs Minecraft at the lowest settings with a little lag :( Other games are fine, but if I want to play TF2/Minecraft or something along those lines, well....

Well I already own Minecraft, I bought it for our last computer. And the Classic worked fine but when I tried to start the paid version up it told me that my graphics card was bad, so playing the "free" version has no bearing whether or not the "paid" version works. Also I stated that my PC no longer works so I can't "try it".

Integrated graphics cards are pretty terrible for gaming. I have an up desktop that I bought with an integrated graphics card. Couldn't even load Assassin's creed brotherhood. Then I bought the galaxy GT 430, and I can now play Assassin's creed and Just Cause 2 with only a tiny bit of lag on default graphical settings. And it can run Bioshock on max settings seamlessly. It feels like I get like 100 fps playing, it's great!

So basically, try and upgrade to an actual graphics card if you can, it's pretty cheap and you'll see a major leap in performance.
