My tongue was planted firmly on my cheek -- I know it's a matter of personal preference.

People have a right to be wrong, after all ;).

No, because no matter how good an fps on an idevice may seem, it will eventually be compared to console games and be downgraded for not having "console quality". And with Black Ops and Reach coming out, our fps expectations will go even higher. Also, because controls on an idevice fps will probably never be perfect, I think graphics and gameplay are the primary goals for the perfect idevice fps. So far, I believe archetype is the closest to perfect, but that should soon change once nova 2 comes out.

Maybe RAGE will be the FPS that sets the new higher standard on the idevice, it certaintly looks amazing which is a good start.
Has anyone tried the gyroscope for aiming? I have and as cool as it is I thought it was very difficult.

Yeah it's cool but it takes some getting used to. You can't really use it when sitting down though, you either have to be standing up or sitting on a spinny chair :D

I can't imagine controlls on a Wii, PCs are perfect for FPSs (and alot more). Also, the graphics can be waaaay better! :D

I do admit, I haven't played alot on a Wii yet (no FPS games or anything like them) (I don't have one, but my friend does), so I can't really say anything here, but I have played FPS/TPS games with 2 sticks, and it's awful compared to keyboard + mouse!

    Thank you, haha.

Squarezero stated that a PC and a mouse is better, which I have to agree with, changing my original statement (just edited it :)).

My thought exactly. Having played around with NOVA, i'm not interested in FPS on my iPad anymore.
