Discuss, was it confirmed by Jobs, will it happen, will it not, and why! PS: Sorry for making another annoying iPad thread, but this is the only real question i have for teh thing.
I think I heard that it is only suppose to be for the IPad. I mean I could not imagine reading whole books on my phone. Ya know? My eyes would be killing me after a while. But on the other hand could they really pass up the possible market that there might be for it on the IPhone? Who knows. But from what I have heard, like I said, it's suppose to be for the IPad only I am pretty sure.
I'm currently reading Under the Dome (1000+ pages) on my iPhone. Key is to have the brightness dimmed and the font at the right size. Reading on it is a breeze and you can do it one-handed.
I don't really see why not. I don't know much about it though, Stanza and Kindle work great on the iPhone/Touch though, so I don't see why Apple wouldn't put their own app in the app store. And reading books is great on the iPhone, yeah, it's small, but with stanza at least you can adjust font, change colors, etc. It really helps (me) to put it in landscape mode though (which unfortunately the recent update of stanza seems to have f*cked up) I've read like 15 books on my Touch, only time it hurt my eyes was the first time I read one, which was The Time Machine (which came with Stanza) because I read it with the lights off.
