Dude, the pubg is a "ripoff" of hunger games which is a "ripoff" of old Japanese movie/manga “Battle royal”. Do we have a decent pubg-like game on mobile devices until now? No. I don’t see a poblem here. I think you are being too categorical here man. As you can see the game's name in Chinese, all of its description is in Chinese, and it's only have Chinese servers. It's pretty clear to me that it wasn't supposed to be released outside China yet, the developers just forgot to remove some checkmarks when they were publishing it. And as for "ripoff" stuff - you can read my statement above.
Easily the single greatest technological accomplishment on mobile, far far far far ahead of anything else out there, PUBG is one of the most demanding games on PC because of its huge map and 100 player combat. To have this kind of experience on mobile, Chinese developers are so far ahead of everyone else it is mind blowing. There are two PUBG-style games from Netease on top 5 free download already, the other one is called 终结者2:审判日 (Terminator 2: Judgement Day, no kidding). It is a cut-throat battle in a market that has 2 of top 5 grossing mobile games worldwide, big companies put two products out there from two development teams, winner gets all the marketing dollars, loser gets shutdown. Tencent also has one coming out which may end up ruling the market. Tencent is world's biggest gaming company by revenue and owns too many top IPs (Riot Games, Supercell, Activision Blizzard stake etc). A lot of optimizations/gameplay tweaks need to be done to make this more than a "OMG I can get 60% of the experience of PUBG on my phone" to make it a commercial success. Notice this game is #1 in China app store downloads but not on top 50 grossing. People are downloading it to try but probably go back to PC version of PUBG. I see these are experimental titles, kind like of like early MOBA games like Ace of Arenas and Vainglory. Eventually the MOBA formula was perfected by Tencent's Honour of Kings and it became a top 5 grossing mobile game worldwide. I would love to see a MOBA version of PUBG by a Tencent or Netease on mobile. In fact, I would love to see a battle royale mode in League of Legends on PC. FPS/TPS is hard enough for casual players on PC, it is even harder on mobile.

close man loving this game.. super easy to figure out being a fan of pubg.. dont have a great gaming pc so this cake at perfect time before the release on xbox got so close!!!
Also, my iPhone 6+ running the game with almost perfect 60fps without heating up the device. And some of the modern isometric puzzle games struggle to maintain 30.
Man can't wait for this game once a proper English version comes out! A mobile PUBG! That's still mind blowing considering a100 player fps/tps mutliplayer experience is still largely absent on most game consoles.
has it stopped working? i see they removed it from the us app store, and also noticed in the right side of the screen it lets you pick english language now... but some stuff is still not translated.. when i start the game up a prompt pops up but its in (chinese/japanese) forgive me im not sure which lol but the game wont load not
The text that pops up when you hit start says that they are performing server maintenance and should be up soon.
Servers are up for me, and the game is now translated into English (somewhat poorly). And the official eastern name is Knives Out! UPD: It seems like they closed new users registration for now. The game was updated today and yes, finally english language! Its really Poor but its cool because at least we can understand the things xD
Just tried the game after the update. It is like 90% translated (not in perfect English but good enough - mine are not perfect either so I cant complain). Knowing what youre doing gives the game a new depth. I can now change some options since I know what everything means, I can add friends and invite them to a game etc. Thumbs up to the devs. Keep the updates coming.
yesssss!!! finally got that chicken dinner! # just being able to play in english made it so much better... huge props to the devs for making this possible on mobile.. one thing that is so funny is how there are features here better then pubg lol you can vault... auto pick up etc... so stoked i was able to grab this before it disappeared sorry for posting the same screen twice lol still trying to figure this out
It didn’t but now it’s updated I’ll check to see if it snuck in. I’ll not hold my breath but I hope so; I need all the help I can get! Great to have English support; I look forward to understanding a bit more than the basics. Edit: no controller.
