im really glad to hear that. It's still officially only listed for iPhone X and up, but I worked really hard to add in the new optimization options on the splash screen, I'm assuming you turned one or more of those on? iPhone 8 is a great phone but it's really difficult to put all of this into 2gb and I wasn't able to test it so I. Am just glad it is helping. I will be fixing a few more items and testing update 1.6 and then will launch it officially, and then put up the android version. My next goal is to try and add controller support for update 1.6.5, and I am pretty much set on adding Inns, Farms and roads for update 1.7
Yes I set every downgrade options on and the game runs, and despite it’s not the beauty shown in screenshots of high end phones, it’s still really enjoyable! I discovered some subterranean shrine and it is gorgeous also in this downstream fashion! Can’t wait for next official update!
Thanks for the encouragement I am doing the internal beta test now and I think I will be able to do a public beta test this weekend. If yes I will post the link here so anyone on iOS can try it.

Oh my!!! Just started playing the update and my heart is leaping with Immense Joy! Robert, you are a Gem of the highest magnitude! Seriously, this is one of the sweetest experiences I’ve ever had. By far my most favorite app on iOS ever. wow. I’m completely melted by such wonder! Thank you for such a lovely digital experience! wish I could afford a newer phone, but what I can experience with what I have is truly remarkable. Robert, your work is a delight to behold! Im so blown away!
Thank you so much for telling me this. I'm really glad to hear that because what I want is for players to have an enjoyable experience. I just uploaded a new 1.6 beta build and now I am working on the last part, which is the final rooms in the dungeons. I'm just making five or six for now but I want to give players something nice to see at the end of each one, maybe even. Sleeping dragon then I will be releasing the android version. then I am planning to try and add gamepad support for update 1.6.5 and not finalized, but it looks like I will be doing Inns, Farms and roads for update 1.7
thank you for always being so supportive and following my games - I really appreciate that it can be daunting doing all this work and encouragement helps me get through it.
Love the meditation mode. The music and slow motion is so relaxing! I also must have stood in front of the mirror for a few minutes just admiring the tech behind it all. I also like the experimental options like becoming a GIANT. Then there’s all the beautiful vines/flowers that grow and blow on the house and ruins. I’m filling up my phone with gorgeous screenshots. There’s so much more to praise, but the main point is this… it’s truly a dream to play/be in! one thing would be cool… the ability to hide all HUD buttons for recording video footage. If it’s there, please forgive me, I just haven’t found it. Truly brilliant stuff. 10 out of 5 stars!
im so happy you noticed all the details you can hide the ui, I don't make it apparent because I haven't figured out a way to turn it back on reliably, like once you turn it off, you have to click top left to get back into the menu but the button will be invisible, so I thought people might hide it and then be like where'd the options go. I'm open to suggestions. that said here's how you do it first turn off the visible joysticks ( they still work just hidden) Options - controls - show joysticks off then hide the main UI options - settings - experimental - go to the 4th experimental screen using the red next button top right and there will be a slider called UI transparency. Slide this to zero and when you exit options there will be nothing on your screen. please feel free to share any videos or screenshots
Thank you! Wonder if like a 3 finger double tap or hold could be how you hide/unhide the hud? I have no clue how all this works, but maybe something like that?
I am populating the final dungeon rooms, and also looking for a new starting point more south. I like the green and fall colors and it might be a bit more interesting as a beginning.
Yes, the Fall colored trees are always were I’m drawn to. I love setting up camp deep within all that glorious color! I have found a good range of HQ settings that are not causing the app to crash now. Very happy about that. Certainly takes some tinkering to find that sweet spot for one’s particular device. Now I can count on great gameplay finally on my IPhone se 20!
Im glad its working on the iPhone SE because I didn't;t think it would. If you have any specific settings suggestions - like something to lower, or even increase, that you find goes you a stable run please let me know, because I can change the iPhone SE settings default quality to match when people start a fresh game.
The end areas are more work than I thought. Sometimes it feels endless, but it gets done brick by brick. It's always little things, like I added a dragon, but you have to be able to jump on it while it moves, so that requires a skin collision solution (thanks to Rascal skinned mesh collider for the answer)
No problem. Glad to help! I’ll need a day or two as the wife is off today and tomorrow and won’t have much time. I’ll screenshot my settings and let you know what they are. I’ll try and post some pics, gifs, or vids to show just how amazing it looks and runs on my iP 20SE. With what I have it set to, there’s no more crashing
Mountain Valley Wilderless is procedurally generated, so its a surprise to me when I come across an area I find really pretty. I liked it here because of the cool mountain lake.
