I played Super Smash Bros for the Wii U and 3DS at Hyper Japan a week ago and I've got to say, it was very good! There was a tournament going on but I, unfortunately, wasn't able to win it to receive a free copy of Super Smash Bros for the 3DS on launch day and a Super Smash Bros for the 3DS Artwork Piece (I did get to the final, though). There were loads of people shouting which shows how competitive Smash Bros is. And the thing that I was happy about was that as soon as it had finished, Nintendo had released more characters and arenas! Looks like SSB4 is going to be a very big game!

Hyrule Warriors Anyone else besides me playing the awesomeness that is Hyrule Warriors? Easily my favorite game on the Wii U right now. I've also got Mario 3d world, Mario Kart 8, Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze and NintendoLand. All great games, but Hyrule Warriors has been a lot of fun. I just got to Ganon's tower, but a lot of DLC is coming for Hyrule Warriors as well including Majora's Mask scenario and something hinting towards Ocarina. Can't wait
haha well to each their own. I think if you accept it for what it is it's quite good. Better than any dynasty warriors game I've played. Honestly it basically is dynasty warriors, but any game you throw a little zelda lore into it I just get hooked. Zelda is one of my favorite franchises ever so I may be biased But I am having a lot of fun with it.
Fair enough I can see why going balls to the wall with characters you love would be pretty enjoyable. I don't have any ties to Zelda (sadly) so that probably has something to do with it.

I wanted to get the bundle that came with mario kart, a wiimote plus, and a wheel, but it looks like they don't sell those anymore :/ Gonna preorder the smash bros gamecube bundle and get Super Metroid though
Meh... Just sold mine. Glad to get rid of it. Gonna stick with my Xbox 360. So much better, still viable, and backward compatible. Not the first time I've wasted money, and it won't be the last..... Life goes on....
I've kinda grown away from AAA releases. I'm going for a Wii U because of all the virtual Console titles and, at this point, is shaping up to be a much better platform for indies than the Xbox One is. And I'm looking forward to Nintendo titles like Smash Bros and Splatoon too. Plus, it'll play my Wii games as well Will be picking up an Xbox One eventually though, I can't miss out on Rainbow 6 Siege or The Division
I love my Wii U, but Im a die hard Nintendo fan. I think you'll like the system. And yes the virtual console is great. I've downloaded lots of classics and the NES remixes are a lot of fun. I'm personally gonna get a ps4 eventually, but not till something like a new Uncharted comes out. Wii U and my mobile stuff is plenty for now
Just bought my wii u, picking it up at the store tomorrow. Looks like today's my lucky day, because the eshop update this week is awesome. Steamworld dog is on sale on Wii U and 3ds Trine 2 is on sale on wii u And Castlevania HoD is releasing. Next week, CV AoS And 2 weeks from now, Stealth inc 2 is coming out (Not to mention shantae on 3ds next week)
