AURUM BLADE Never expected this one to get widescreen support, but I'm SO FREAK'N GLAD that it did!!! =oD
Thanks for the heads up. I had totally forgotten about this game. Great work keeping the thread up-to-date.
=o) Thanks... If we listed EVERY game released with widescreen support, no one here would be able to keep up... Just older games that get a widescreen update are listed (which is why your beautiful new shooter didnt get listed yet). =oP ^^no, I'm not being sarcastic... LOVE Alien Space and ASR... Haven't played Annihilate much yet, but so far, it's great, and I love the graphics. =oD
Hehe, no prob. Didnt realize the thread was just about older games getting updates, but now that I think about it that makes sense. There's a good chance ASR will be on the list in the not-too-distance future. So, keep an eye out for that.
That is some GREAT news!!! I hope it all works out, and isn't too much trouble making it fit the widescreen... The more I play games that are not designed to fit the 4 inch screen, the more I really don't care how developers do it - be it stretching the gameplay area, giving us more to look at, or even boarders - so long as the controls stop becoming unresponsive once you drift into the quarter inch boarders. I know it doesn't sound like much, but it's very easy to do on a touch screen, especially when the controls are even just a quarter inch further in on the screen... and with a lot of games it even feels like once you even just barely touch the dead area on the sides, the controls completely stop being responsive, even if part of your finger is still touching the play area... so yeah - I'm pretty sure a lot of people would even settle for boarders added so that that area becomes 'live' instead of 'dead' =oP Anyway... thanks for the info!
Dragon Knight 4 (Premium) - the free version has not been updated to fit the 4 inch screen, but chances are, it'll come soon.
Technically it's not too much trouble. The main problem comes in with the game balance issues associated with increasing how much the player sees. It's a tricky thing.
Ninjump Deluxe + Ninjump (Free Version) both got widescreen support. =oD Sunshine got widescreen support a while ago, but just got an update so that you can disable Kiip rewards in the main menu's options.
