Why'd you join TA?

Hmmm, perhaps he went through a significant point in his life that changed him.
Maybe his cat died, or he could have ran out of bacon or maybe his uncle touched him!

I joined TouchArcade because of the New Games page Believe it or not, I would daily search the early App Store for sales, but once I found TouchArcade, I only had to re-fresh my browser! Of course now I use the forums and front page a whole lot more, but that new games page was what got me started.

Now let's start a thread "why you left touch arcade"...
Then everyone can complain about new members having 2k posts in the span of oh let's say a month?!?! Seriously how is that even possible?...

 

I joined TA because i felt like i needed to add comments on the Upcoming Games...and maybe get a promo code or two. Which never happened.

I also wanted to join a more active fourm. I came from IpodTouchFans, which is an awesome site for jailbroken stuff, but i needed to know more about the games on my idevice...since i just got it. And now im obsessed with this site, as well iPtF for jailbroken stuff!

 

Agreed that TA is really the only active community for iPhone games. Getting promo codes is just icing on the cake.

I joined after seeing many of the games that I enjoyed as having positive reviews from TA. I was getting tired of sifting through the App Store alone, so I lurked a little and finally joined to rant with dogmeat about how the UE3 Engine could help reduce time spent on the medium and more on the storyline.

Glad to say that my grammar mostly has remained intact throughout my membership. It's only been three months, though. Soon I may start leaving punctuation out. When that happens, please, someone hunt me down and shoot me.

 

Pretty much my story too, just that I came in March, spent 2 months reading quietly, ran across many many reviews by the Big A, all the while thinking this guy is good!, then before I knew it I'm a member

Why I stayed

 

I joined because I was looking for info about when NEED FOR SPEED: UNDERCOVER was being released. It never came out when people whined in December '08, I waited until March '09 and just happened to stay around ever since

 

That's weird since he joined in April and still has less posts then you.

I joined because of all the women on this site...oops, that's the wrong TouchArcade.
