Gimme an M, gimme a U, gimme a T, gimme an I... Yeah anyway, I joined just to express my opinion on Space Invaders Infinity Gene. I think I'd only been lurking a week or so. I found the site because I was searching for the best place for info on iPhone games... simple as that.
I joined because I couldn't stand hanging around iPodTouchFans any longer. There were a few good users there but on the whole, it was like the forums were made up of YouTube and eBaumsWorld commenters. Once I found this place and discovered a much more intelligent level of conversation -- and far fewer dumbass question on where to get PIRATZ WAREZ -- and there was actually a culture of buying games, I defected here and never went back there.
It's funny how actually using grammar can get people to be more kind as opposed to some... And for me, I think it started by searching for a list of best games available last year and the Christmas guide came up. I saw the list left, and eventually came back as my addiction grew of the appstore. Here I am 1,100 posts later...

Was buying a couple of shitty games so I went to find a proper iPhone game review site. Google led me to TA and so I registered in the forums This was in late 2008.
i joined it just two months ago... i started read the site after i bought my ipodtouch(oct 2008) but after more than a year i feel the wish to be more active
I joined because it was THE FIRST iphone gaming community I could find, Plus at the time everyone wanted to discuss tactics on how to beat Aqua Forest and SMB.... Amazing how much the whole scene has changed, some for the worst but mainly for the better! I <3 TA ALSO!
I ended up here at random, after replacing my finally-dead Handspring Visor Prism with an iPod Touch for use as a PDA. Lurked for a couple of days, snagged a promo code or two, then joined in on the fun! I've had offers to write reviews for several other sites, which I've turned down - TA has been good to me, I'm staying here! (Well, that and I hardly have time to play all these great games, nevertheless write reviews for them... )
I joined because the front page stuff was top notch and very accessable, the forums on the other hand, really corrupt the site.
I'm proud to say that me joining had absolutely nothing to do with Pocket God or promo codes. Back in Oct/Nov 08, about a month after getting my touch, the TA front page was like the only good iPhone website I could find. But the front page would only get updated a couple times a day, and I craved more info. It took a couple months for me to realize about the forums here, but once I did it turned out to be exactly what I was looking for. Then after a couple months of just quietly reading along, I decided to join after I found out my name was one of the secret character names in Rogue Touch. I think my first 5-10 posts were strictly about gushing over RT. Ahhh, such memories.
