Yea but there's less than 15 games that interest me on other consoles. Currently i have 21 wii games , 9 ps3 games.
I'm going to agree with you on the connection part. Id much prefer to play online on my Xbox, which uses an ethernet cable, over the Wii, which runs on Wifi, since I get much, much more lag on my Wii. I've been killed by lag and lagged out of many more games playing COD4 on the Wii than I have on the 360. Now for everyone complaining about Goldeneye being on the Wii... I'm actually extremely appreciative that they're bringing it back to a modern console. Sure, they could have also brought it to the 360, PS3, and/or PC, but I'm just glad that they're at least bringing it back. And if it does well, maybe it'll get ported over. As for now, though, I'm just glad that it's being ported to any console at all. And if you guys hate the Wii that much (which, admittedly, the hatred over a decent console like the Wii gets annoying after a while), go buy an N64 and the original cartridge. Sure, it may be the least popular of the 3 systems, and may not have the game library that the PS3/360 currently have, but it's not completely crappy, nor is it broken. It's a competent system, that, unfortauntely, good developers havn't taken too much advantage of. That doesn't make it a terrible system necessarily, though. There's plenty of good games to play, and I still enjoy doing more than playing just strictly Wii games on it. Simply put, appreciate that you're even getting a port of such a classic shooter, and stop complaining that it's on "the worst system ever".
I dunno if that's true or just a flame, but either way it's sorta accurate. I'm at 59 on PS3 and 53 on 360 and there are still a few I've missed. I guess if you're not much of a gamer then you must die the Wii's casual approach would appeal a little more.
By comparison, Nintendo isn't evil. I was aware of that (and something about having environmentally damaging products, but whatever.) They also seem to be trying to brainwash kids into thinking mustaches are good ideas. Looking at the competition though, Nintendo looks great. Morally.
Well, I wasn't trying to paint Nintendo as evil, strictly speaking, just that they're hardly innocent. Especially the moustache thing. That only works for people named Tom Selleck and Sean Connery.
I used to like Nintendo when I was young, but it just feel like I've "grown out of them". I mean, I enjoyed Pokemon and Mario back on the Gameboy when I was young, but as I've got older I appreciate Nintendo's game franchises less and less - especially the more Asian styled ones (Japan can come up with some weird shit - just take a look at that Nintendo 3DS video that was shown at E3). And when it comes to the Wii, well, there is no console I have ever hated more. I just don't get why older teenagers and adults like it. 7 year olds - yes that's ok, but when you get some fat middle-aged man playing Wii sports, it just makes me cringe. What is so fun about waving some stick around like a lunatic while watching your dumb little cartoon character smack a ball with a tennis racket? I'd much rather just play COD. Maybe I'm just boring, but I hate the Wii. And also the Wii Fit which is absolute bullshit! Standing on some retarded board, pretending to hula-hoop is so stupid and won't help you stay fit nearly as much as walking, running or cycling etc - which are pretty much all free.
Totally. The Wii needs a HUGE graphics over haul.... True, very true. Great games....just needs better graphics.
It's very unlikely to get any better graphics anytime soon. I hate that people bitch over the graphics, seriously graphics aren't everything. I'd rather play a game with bad graphics that is at least fun. Yes I used the word "Fun" and "Wii" in the same sentence.
I can't tell if this is sarcastic. I hope it is. Graphics are fluff. Who cares if you can count the beads of sweat on your character's face? If it's fun, then it's worth playing. And I feel obliged to add that the Wii's library isn't half as bad as some insinuate. Monster Hunter Tri, Dead Space Extraction, both Super Mario Galaxies, Tatsunoko vs. Capcom... it's not exactly in dire need of more triple-A games.
First point- Please clean up your language up a bit. It doesn't exactly make you more mature when you curse. Second-You need help if you 'hate' an inanimate object. I doubt it has ever done anything to hurt you. The fact that some people like it and you don't doesn't mean you should hate it. The Wii was made for breaking barriers in gameplay and appeal and that is just what Nintendo did. So it doesn't have good online or HD graphics. I personally haven't played Monster Hunter Tri online yet and I still love the game. It may not be for you but there's no reason to hate it. The fact that Goldeneye is coming is fantastic for me since I no longer own my N64 .
I agree with you on that point. Wii Sports really can't even come close to mimicing what it's like in real life. I love playing both golf and baseball in real life, and while I enjoy them both in Wii Sports, it's definitely not as fun as getting outside and playing a game of baseball or a round of golf. Nonetheless, it's decent fun for those days when you can't get outside and play those sports for real, due to one reason or another. And as for the Wii Fit, I couldn't agree more. Stupidest idea ever. "Standing on a board and leaning a bit will make a fat person skinny!" Yeah right.
Well, I could go on. Metroid Prime 3, Super Smash Brothers Brawl, Rune Factory Frontier, the Art Style series, Super Paper Mario, Cave Story (maybe not the best example, as it's available on the computer, too), De Blob... I dunno, I don't feel like listing a ton of games. Besides, how many people own that many games, anyways? I only have a couple of the games I mentioned, the rest I've played when visiting friends or otherwise. People always seem to argue the Wii has nothing worth playing, but it's not like it has significantly less than the Xbox or PS3, it's just a different focus. Wii has fewer games about shooting things in the face and more about, you know, actually imaginative stuff. Not that I hail the Wii's library as the best to ever grace our pitiful existence, it's just that it's nowhere near as bad as some would like to think.
You can't tell me what I can and can't hate. Maybe hate was the wrong word to use, at the moment I can't think of a better word, but it's my opinion and I'll hate whatever I want and I'll write about whatever I want. Another reason I hate the Wii fit is because it said I was obese, even though I only weigh 63kg.
