thanks to everyone that posted I would've given my two cents, but many others here have already given much more than that, so I just want to say thank you to all that contributed to this thread. I think the main points are: The app store is much more competitve now than before, and so an app requires marketing Various marketing strategies will help get the word out, but the game ahs to stand on its own as with any movie/book/art - the first few seconds (of viewing the description/screenshots/icon) must grab the viewer or its a nogo.
