That's all you can say? A perfectly sound piece of reasoning, and all you can do is attempt to laugh it off? Really Hodapp, I expected better
This is also true... I was about to say the same thing but Fruho beat me too it. The most common excuse for people who own the iPad for the lack of Flash is something along the lines of, "Lololololol, we don't needz it!lololololol."
I believe this would be appropriate: I don't know why the embed isn't working, but hit the pop-up link button!
Whinge whinge whinge, it's not got flash, the ram makes games slow.....boring...seriously, it's such a man thing, about the size of the ram. I use it to do accounts, send files, make presentations and write at my leisure. I play some games on it too, it does everything I need it to do, no issues no dramas. If you want a high spec fast runner, get yourself a new shiney laptop, if you want excellent games, get a PS3 or xbox. It may be overpriced to some dole dwelling fart, but to a business woman like myself, its been a godsend. If people don't like apple products, hey don't buy them, boycott the whole bloody line of products, and let the rest of us get on with it.
Jesus christ, hes not making excuses for why he bought it, he bought it because he wanted to be able to give first impressions of it on the website. Plus, his opinion of it is HIS own opinion, stop trying to make your opinion seem right. Let alone the fact that he actually owns it, unlike you whos just spewing out crap about it.
We're not saying his opinion isn't valid, we're just saying his excuse for it not having Flash is ridiculous.
I actually install software on my computer to block Flash and everything to do with Flash so uh... Never needing to worry about Flash is actually one of my favorite features of the iPad.
Anyone who says the iPad is the best web surfing device is a moron. You can't honestly say that with a straight face. The iPad is a pretty useless device, it's not very practical. I don't see how anyone could argue that. It's way more expensive yet way less functional and portable than your average netbook. I'd say the iPad is mostly for rich old people with nothing to do with their money.
Hi, Why does this need a thread? I deleted Krazy Kart from my Ipod Touch earlier today and did not start a thread on the subject, geez. Quick, a show of hands for those who care why the OP returned their Ipad. Anyone? David
If you are going to buy something for impressions - then fine - buy it and make your impressions - but don't buy it with the intent to use it, and then return it when you are done with your impressions. To me that is a hair shy of stealing...
"Spewing out crap?" I've had plenty of experience with the device, and have tried it out plenty of of times-enough to have a fair impression. Great, I don't actually care why he bought it: I'm just saying it's quite idiotic to try and laugh off the fact that the iPad does not have flash. That is significant-maybe not to him, but to most people, as the internet can hardly be considered complete without Flash. Second, I am saying that the iPad is not worth the cash. That is obviously debatable, though I'm yet to here a valid reason that justifies the $300 hike over the iPod Touch
